While I think the new attractions look great, I am sad that Snow White's Scary Adventures is no longer in the Magic Kingdom. It was always one of our favorites. Is there anyone else that is going to miss it as much as us?

We are not roller coaster people, so we definitely miss it. :(

I love roller coasters, and am very excited to ride the new mine train...but I'm definitely going to miss Snow White's Scary Adventures. It's such a hard balance to look forward to new attractions, when you really miss those classics!

I will miss it too. There was something so old school and "Disney-Like" about the ride through type attractions.

I am still not over Mr. Toad being taken away!

DD (6) missed it horribly on our trip the week after Thanksgiving. I thought she was going to cry when we walked by the spot where it used to be for the first time on our trip. She was really close to tears. She knew it was going to be gone, but it still really got her when she saw the area. She knew on our trip the year before that it was getting ready to close and we rode it multiple times and we also devoted a 2 page spread to it in our photopass book, since it has always been one of her very favorite rides. DD doesn't care for roller coasters, so she is not excited about the new ride at all.

Flame me but I wasn't all that sad to see it go. We still did it every trip but we always got off saying "that was weird." It was just too dark to be in Fantasyland, I have a lot of younger cousins I have gone to DW with and none of them were huge fans. I hope the Mine Train is extremely family friendly and that young kids will get a lot of enjoyment out of it!

I will also miss it. I love the character "dark rides". Now that it's gone I'd love to see a new dark ride take it's spot, preferably based on a classic Disney movie. Pinocchio or Alice in Wonderland ports from DL would also be great.

I hope so, too, but it already automatically leaves out members of my family with health problems. I imagine a lot of grandparents are going to have to sit it out, too.

count me as someone that will not miss it. it always reminded me of a cheesy carnival type ride. i have similar feelings to pooh but my kids love pooh and the trippy room where he eats too much honey is my favorite.:hippie:

I am excited for the new roller coaster but will miss Snow White's Scary Adventure.

I will miss it. I personly really like those character dark rides, and it's one reason I prefer Disneyland to the Magic Kingdom.

I know my DD3 and DD1 like those rides, too.

I dont understand why the couldnt just keep the ride-- I mean COP is still in tomorrow land ... why couldnt they have 2 snow white rides

i road it a couple days before they were supposed to close it and i for one wont miss it.. it really wasnt that good and not up to the same level as other dark rides.. sometimes its just time to move on

JessM, you are definitely entitled to your own opinion- I hope no one flames you!!!:)

I don't think it will be family friendly especially for the littlest Princess lovers that are going to cry that they can't go on the "Princess" ride because it is going to have a 40 inch height requirement. The younger kids won't be able to ride it, nor will people that have any kind of health condition that keeps them off of roller coasters. I know my MIL won't be able to ride it. Personally, I think I will like it because I like coasters. At about 1:30 of this video there is an animation that gives you an idea of what it will be like- looks like it starts off slow and then goes into the roller coaster part. You can't really tell on this video, but I've also seen that the cars themselves are also supposed to swing from side to side a bit in addition to the fast forward movement.

I never understood the need to remove a ride that wasnt in the way and it gives one more thing to do in a park that can get crowded:confused3

I'm excited for the new ride but will miss it too. I got to ride it on its last day open :goodvibes

I would guess that Disney already has plans for what to put there, because otherwise why close it, and especially so long before the Mine Train opens?

I will really miss Snow White, though! It was really well done immersing you in the story, and it never had a bad wait. We'd like to guess while we were waiting in line which dwarf vehicle we'd get :goodvibes
