Just in case - anyone plans to do the

Here are the locations

deck 2 (opposite 2002),
deck 5 (opposite 5192),
deck 6 (opposite 6508),
deck 7 (opposite 7014),
deck 8 (opposite 8150),
deck 9 (opposite 9500) and
deck 10 (opposite 10572).

Each location has at least 4 washers and 2 dryers, 1 iron and ironing board and a folding table and seating bench. At least one location (deck 6) has 8 washer, 4 dryers and 2 irons/ironing boards.

Has anyone been to Costa Maya before and have done the "Really long C Name" Mayan Ruins? My DH and I have booked it for us and our 2 DS (10 and 2) and now I'm hearing it's a 1 hour ride each way...and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this excursion and if it would appropriate for a toddler.

FYI that I was holding a 3:15pm Pirates League reservation for Day 5 (which is Pirates IN the Caribbean night), but I have just canceled that appointment and that slot is available as I post this.

Funny thing...
We live in a small city in southeastern Michigan. My daughter went to school on Monday and shared about her Christmas present, our cruise. Turns out, one of her friends from her class will be on the same cruise! So, I was just wondering if that family is on DIS too??? DD is very excited that she will have her cousin AND a friend on board!

That is so great!! We aren't telling Matthew until the week (or day) we leave. It would be so nice to have someone onboard that he already knows. When I took my girls to WDW the first time, someone from DD's brownie troop was swimming in the pool at the same hotel - and we're from a small town too. That was Feb vacation too .

We talked about taking our nephew with us, but my sister and BIL want to take him for his first time (WDW or cruise).

I just wanted to let parents know that there is a facebook group for the kids created and if you're interested in having your kids mingle/chat/post prior to sailing they can join (it's just for our cruising date) It really does help to break the ice and the kids are excited to meet the new friends they've been connecting with online. My daughter is a somewhat shy, only child, so she really doesn't love the Oceaneers Lab/Club since she doesn't have a buddy. So... Does anyone else on the board have an 8-10 year old girl looking to make an email connection before the cruise? They could email or imessage a few times and then connect on the ship, so they have another friendly face. Please let me know if you have a DD who is interested and we can exchange addresses!

Since we are going to WDW for 3 nights prior to the cruise, DS is also missing 3 days of school. He's in Kindy and hasn't missed any school yet. Definitely better when they're still this young!

We've taken our older DD's friends with us before but they were in their teens. Hoping my sister will let us take my nephew on a trip in the future since they don't go away much. DS is pretty much an only child since his siblings are all adults (19, 21 and 24).

As someone who has done the FE about 7 times now might I make a few suggestions -

someone divide us into specific days so that everyone doesnt unload the first few days (the last day i wouldn't use because everyone is trying to pack up)

someone have a dry erase board in front of their cabin door (im happy to offer mine) in case someone has a cabin change at check-in (happens all the time) or if someone needs to leave the FE people a message. I can also leave an FE list outside my cabin incase someone forgets theirs.

Im super excited to go! This cruise will finally make us platinum after its completion : ) Everyone in my family agrees this is the best week of the entire year.

ps- does anyone have pin traders on the FE list?????

We trade pins in the park on our last cruise in 07 we weren't into pin trading yet so yes we are going to try this cruise
