I get that there are 2 "threads", the one in the fairy tale land, and the one in storybrookie. but I get confused when they jump back and forth in the fairytale thread.

I can follow that snow and emma just returned from there, in THIS time. and then there is the telling of the "how we got here" thread.

but tonight, in that "thread", Regina's father, Henry was alive. sometimes he's alive, sometime's he's not.. regina killed him, didn't she? so confused!!!

My family jumped on me today when I asked about something that happened last episode --- which was weeks ago! I have no idea how someone can keep all of the stories straight when, as you said, they occur in two different realms and at various time periods. I have the main pieces down, but every so often I will look at someone and say, "Wait, what is his story?!?!?!" My wife has no problem keeping it all together.

They are now showing what led up to Regina's big curse. If I'm not mistaken, Regina killed her father in order for this curse to happen, but in the part they were focusing on, it hasn't happened yet.

The ending was a total surprise to me. When Cora said she had someone, I thought it was going to be Belle for some reason. Glad to see Dr. Hopper still alive.

I thought it was Belle too until she said that it was someone who knew all the details of Storybrooke. Glad to see Dr. Hopper alive too.

And even though he's pretty evil, Hook is still hot.

I thought for sure it was Belle also. And agreed on Hook's hotness!

This was a great episode. Many woah moments for me.

So was Pongo barking because it wasn't really Regina or because it wasn't the real Dr. Hopper? Will Pongo help them find Dr Hopper? Can Emma will the ship to be visible again?

I'm trying to remember the timeline when Rumple was put in prison. Obviously it was after Snow and Charming's marriage but before Emma was born.

Regina had some good lines - telling Ruby to go walk herself, calling Mr. Hopper a bug and that he "chirped" about her business to everyone.

I also thought it was Belle. My mind went straight there when Cora said that she did it for Hook (thinking payback).

I'm really glad that they didn't kill off Dr. Hopper too.

Well, this doesn't help with the timeline. But, didn't Rumple's imprisonment have something to do with Cinderella and the baby she was expecting? I'm trying to remember that episode.

I haven't watched the first episode of this but am thinking I need to start at the beginning and work my way up- I never watched lost- is this one really good?

before he was rumple he was a layman so maybe he had a dog and sheep??

That's what irks me the most about Emma - she's new to all this "magic" stuff, and yet she doesn't question things, and like you posted about the dreamcatcher she doesn't stick around long enough to really understand what's going on. Plus, she's supposed to be the sheriff - magic or not, she SHOULD be questioning all kinds of things.

I forgot about that! DH didn't double check to see if we had it set to record prior to us going to see The Hobbit last night. He didn't, so we missed the new episode. Looks like we'll have to catch up via ABC's web site.
