How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Our 2013 trip will be an adults only trip for 6 nights/5 park days.

Staying at CSR with premium package. $4200

Flights $300 (we already have $390 in credits to apply to the flights)
$200 rental car and gas
$230 tickets to US/IOA

SO about $5000 total
Actually about $5300 total because we will have 6 days of deluxe dining and have to pay TS tips.

DH and I Nov 11-15.

4 nights at SOG- $131/night so just over $520
Military PH tickets assuming they offer again ~$310
Auto Train-$1000
Meals ~$550

So, around $2400

We're also doing a couple of nights in Fort Lauderdale and a 7 night cruise prior to WDW. That will cost twice as much as the 4 days in WDW. ;)

In Oct 2011, we did 5 nights at SOG and got 1/2 price room so the room only ran us about $315. Keeping my eyes open for fall specials again this year.

The four of us (2 kids 7 & 4) went for our first trip in late November. The breakdown was:

7 nights at POR with a water view, free dining and 7 day base park tickets -
$2750

Flight from Buffalo via JetBlue - $900

Extras including tips which add up the restaurants, stroller rentals, souvenirs, a night at a hotel in buffalo, insurance and misc. - 1200

Total cost $4850 and that took some planning with making the free dining option match up with cheaper flights. We can't wait to do it again next year if all the stars align and we can keep it under $5000.

Not sure I want to add this up. Lol
This is for me and my daughter,16

2 nights AKL DVC pt rental $360
1 day park hoppers x2 $260
Airfare return $700
DCL fantasy 7 night with ins and transfers $3400
Misc like parking, airporter we take from hometown, 1 night airport hotel $350
So $5070 BEFORE spending and food for 2 days at AKL.
My guess is 5600 total
YIKES!!! Lol

This is for me dw, and dd2

7 nights at cbr king room, deluxe dining upgraded from free dining pin
6 night myw ticket no hopper, insurance included for feb 9-16 $2400 and change

Flight rt $670 for the 3 of us, since we got my daughter her own seat since she's to big to sit on our lap really almost 3 instead of 2.

so in total $3070

Our trip March 21-30th (9 days, 8 nights). Me, DH, DS 14, DD 10 (will be at time of trip) and DS 7.

Good thing I start saving a year prior because this trip is almost paid off. Looking at it this way does provide sticker shock :scared1:

Hopefully, you are planning on calling on Thursday to get that discount applied!!! Should get you some of that money back! :goodvibes

I already had the discount applied ;) . I have the Disney Visa and called on the 27th. Saved $753. But, I did forget to add I saved $500 on flights since I used rewards points. So my actual cost for flights was $1180. Total trip cost is $9746.

In 2011 we went Christmas week (PEAK WEEK) for 10 days, POR, water view, 2 adults, 3 kids, 8 day hopper - FREE DINING.

Easter 2013 (PEAK WEEK) we are going for the same trip except paying for dining, but with the "new promotion". We are paying a little over $2000 more for a lesser room (garden view).

Still looking forward to our trip but we will be spending a lot less on extra's in the parks. We usually do a tour, special event (MVMCP, pirates league or BBB) and lots of extra's. This year we are cutting out the "extra's". Disney will get our $$$ but will be in the package not "extra's".

OH don't forget all the extra you will spend on the cruise. Drinks, tips, shopping. A cruise can add us.

We went Easter week last year to with the Free Dining, stayed 1 day longer at BW Standard and put No Expiration on our WP & More Fun tickets. The cost last year was the same as this year. Really looking forward to some warm weather and relaxation :beach: .

I am confused - how did you get free dining in 2012 Easter week. No offeres were ever opened up in 2012. It was the first Easter week in a long time that no deals were offered.

One of several short trips
Two adults
2/1 - 2/5

POP - $303 with Fl resident discount
Gas - $25 with a hybrid
Food/alcohol - $500 maybe?
Renewal of seasonal Fl resident annual passes with flex pay - $180

$1,200 minus the Disney and Chase Freedom reward bucks we accrued since last trip =

$800, give or take :)

Boston to Orlando for 4: $800
AoA Cars for 4 nights: $774
No dining plan
Tickets 3 days no hopper $936

Total without food: $2510

We will buy food thru Garden Grocer to bring lunch/snacks with us.

But this is an expensive long weekend trip!

Yah we cruise a lot. I don't drink and we don't s hop much - can only have so many souvieners- we are good at keeping the costs way down! lol.
