Maybe our husbands need a club. "My wife is a crazy vacation planner club" or something like that. They could have a support group over nachos and beer
GATORinaZ28 said:It's the exact opposite in our house. My wife won't plan anything, she just tells me the things that she wants to do during a vacation. She has me plan out each day so that it doesn't break any "OCD'ness". lol
We only have 352 days of planning left.
I'm the same - constantly planning & getting excited over the details & DW is like yeah ok
She will enjoy it but doesn't want to get bogged down in the details. Prolly OCD tendencies I get with planning , being a financial planner... Lol
Count Us In!
We had a hard time deciding wether to go during the Food & Wine Festival or for Christmas.
The last time we were there was December 5, 2003 - way too long - have been to Disneyland in between.
We are booked at POFQ from December 5, 2013 until December 16th. We heard that POFQ is the best moderate. Would love to stay to the Poly or Wilderness Lodge, but don't want to spend another $1500.
We plan on doing Deluxe Dining. We are not youngsters any more (55 and 52). Just young at heart.
We plan on doing all of the parks and taking a couple of days to explore different resorts and relax.
415 days to go. Can't come soon enough for us.
Still need to pick ADR's. We have until June. We booked through Dreams Unlimited and are very happy with them - they are going to make all of our reservations.
I am not picky, but, my husband is allergic to shellfish and does not like anything cooked in gravy or soups. I have a few places in mind that will be a must.
Kouzinna by Cat Cora; Artist Point; Flying Fish; Kona Cafe; Le Cellier; 50's Prime Time Cafe ... still need to pick the rest.
Along way away, but, the planning and dreaming is fun.
We don't do any touring plans. For lunch we just pick a CS wherever we are at around 11:00 am - 11:30 am. We do make a few TS ADRs for dinner. I will feel a lot better when the airlines release their schedules.
I wish we were only 6 hours away. I think I heard from where I am in MD it is 12-18 hours by car which is too long for us. It is a 2 hour plane ride which is great. How often do you get to Disney?
I actually grew up close to Maryland in Great Falls, VA. My Grandparents took us to Disney most summers. Was a blast. Now, since my wife hates Disney, we only go every few years. In 2010 we got lucky and went twice.
What about you?
I think we have finally decided on Dec 7-Dec 14th 2013! It will be my husband, mom, and dad. It will be my parents first trip during Christmas time. So excited!!!!
we are going on the 8th and staying until the 15th for the time being we are booked into coronada springs but if not discounts are offered we have to move.
there are 15 of us
its everyones first visit during this season.
we went in 2010 for halloween
then we took grand daughter for a suprise trip this past labor day weekend
I will be in WDW from 9th - 15th December 2013.
I hear that this is Pop Warner week. Is this likely to impact crowd levels in the parks?
