We bailed on out holiday party before the gift exchange started with the excuse that we had to show an apartment. Now we're at Fry's to pick up an electric fireplace for the bathroom in the new house and yet another computer. Like we need either, but who am I to judge!

Just make sure you tell the architect about the fireplace for the bathroom. It may not occur to him to build one in.

Evidently its jus a wall heater with a video screen. I'm pretty sure there is enough space on the wall bear the toilet to include it. We're going to have all the appliances bought before out permits are approved at thus rate! She was having me look at refrigerators a moment ago. We're going to get one of those really nice ones with the freezer on the bottom and double doors on top.

. She has been lurking on the DIS lately teafing my PTRs and wonders why I am always complaining about her buying. But when all our storage is at capacity, what am I supposed to think?

Finally home.

I think I'm down to my last two gifts to get. One for a 6 year old and one for a 9 year old. Both girls....and I have to fit it around the theme of a bag of sorts. Both girls will be going to my mother's for Christmas Eve. We see all of DS' cousins on that night and exchange gifts with them. For the early teens, I've gotten them all a media case and stuffed it with an iTunes voucher plus chocolates.

I don't know if the 9 year old has an iPod; but I think she has a DS. So, the iTunes card won't work. I'm thinking of getting her a handbag and putting the chocolates in it.

For the 6 year old....I had no idea until I was told that she might like a backpack. I could get her that and put the chocolates in it.

Sounds like a plan?

That sounds like a great idea if the kids don't have an iPod. Getting them backpacks along with chocolate is very nice for a Christmas present.
