I'm not sure if there is an "end" time to show up...other than the end of the fireworks, and that makes the point moot, but we have seen people come in during the fireworks. Some of the desserts may be gone at that time, but i've seen it happen. You may want to call disney dining to be sure though...just to be safe. :thumbsup2

I can call them to ask but in case someone might know if they were in a similar situation, please chime in. 7:30 adr for dinner, 9:00 seating TTDP? Dinner only, leaving room for dessert. Or I can just walk across at 9 and check in if as everyone finishes up dinner. Thank you. :)

We're booked for January 27th! It'll be me, DH and DS (2)! We're so looking forward to our first dessert party. We all love desserts!

It's also one of my Christmas presents for DH that I'll be surprising him with. ;)

Where is your dinner ADR? Is Wishes at 10pm that night? I think dinner would be at least an hour depending on where the restaurant is located but as long as Wishes doesn't start until 10pm you should be okay. You are paying for the dessert party so you want to make sure you have enough time to enjoy the desserts!

Adr at Tony's. Wishes at 10 that night. Honestly I would be happy with a hot dog at Casey's, leaving room for dessert enjoying the parade and Wishes, but I'm overruled. Thanks for your help. :)

Just remember your ADR time for dinner does not mean you will be seated at 7:30.

We have been trying to make reservations but there are never any available. Does anyone know if they happen to take walk-ins? My fiancée and I will be attending the DFTW show Feb 9th and is love to take her to the party after the event.

I just wanted to pop in and add my experience with the desert party.

We went last year..I was sooooo excited to book for my family of 4. 2 kids ages 11 and 14.

When we got there we were seated at the back back table. Very small table..the size of a small patio set..

The deserts were very limited. There were 3 small buffet tables set up..and by small I mean..SMALL.. the 3 buffet tables were exactly the same..so essentially 1 buffet table of variety. The deserts were not good for our kids. They liked the cookies, brownies and chocolate dipped strawberries. Everything else was a little strange..they didnt like the creme' brulee or any of the fancier deserts...

I LOVE deserts and there were only maybe 3 that I could finish. They were not good.

The coffee and water and juice came out about 10 minutes late and was gone within 15 minutes. We had to wait another 15 minutes for them to refill. By the time the juice and water and coffee was refilled, they were already starting to put the buffet away. The buffet DOES NOT STAY OPEN through the fireworks.

When the fire works start, you can forget about watching them from your seat..no matter where you are sitting. Because there is a cover on the terrace you cannot see into the sky..so you will have to stand up. or walk to the outter parts to see the fireworks. Which is super crowded.

For us, we said we would never do it again and spend the money somewhere else.

Thank you very much for posting your experience. I'm sorry to hear that it was so lousy for you. I am in the super excited camp for my upcoming reservation. I can only hope that it's been updated based on customer feedback. If you don't mind me asking, how long ago did you attend the party?
