I can't even get myself together . I have groceries sitting on the counter. I managed to buy a few gifts. My feet and ribs hurt. I haven't even thought about the dinner. I need a few of me to get done. ARGH!!!!!

Hi fellow Oldies! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! Spent Thanksgiving with the extended family. We did all our decorating on Friday. DH did his shopping, I'll start mine tomarrow. I also have to get organized -- only 7 days til Disney!

I hope the cruisers are off to a nice relaxing trip!

No thanks! I don't like doing it; DH is just neurotic. We buckle down & "get 'er done". We have to unpack as soon as we get home from a trip, too. Everything is unpacked, put away & suitcases returned to their spots within 1/2 hr after we are home.

Yea, but just about an inch or 2, nothing much. Should melt soon. It's not early for us, about average. I was hoping for nice sunny & warm weather next week @ DL, but looks like high 60s-low 70s with nughts in the 50s & a few days of rain. Looks like no swimming for me. Rats.

Well, Anaheim weather can change. You just never know. So don't fret over rain. I remember going when I was about 13 and it rained and had a blast.

I like to get unpacked as well. I like doing my laundry toward the prior day before coming home, that way it is done.

Hi Usnuz. I am doing way better than these last few days. But I am still coughing just a little.


Just as Usnuz said that Anaheim weather can change. When I went last week to DL there were days where it was suppose to rain and it only sprinkled just part of the day. I thought that it was going to sprinkle more during that trip and it was nice. I love going to the parks when it rains.

I look back now and remember it was so cool. People would leave in a hurry. Ca weather , rain doesn't stay around for long. And usually it is a warm rain.

Thanks for the weather info! I was going to ask what you thought, Usnuz. If it keeps the crowds down, it will be a plus. We've done WDW in pouring rain & DL in drizzly weather before. I just hope it doesn't affect World of Color or the Parade the days I have them planned.

Not sure about WOC , that was long before. I can't remember about parade's . But I love the park in the rain. Take a small umbrella if you think you might need it.

While it is raining, it keeps the crowds down while they are taking shelters at the park or go back to the room and wait until it stops raining. There will be some people that will walk while it is raining. Most of the outside rides will be closed while it rains and are wet.

Even when it is raining WoC was running. I remember one day where it was raining like crazy and the show was going on. Most of the people around me just left while some stayed to watch the show. I was one of the crazy people to do that. I believed that was when I went in February 2011. I did had my poncho and umbrella during the show. Also if it does rain and "A Christmas Fantasy" parade will not be running. But they have a cavalcade if the parade is canceled.
