I don't actually have anything to say. I just wanted to re-post this picture.

Watching some TV then off to bed and up at 4am to head north.

Regular rum finish or Spiced Rum? We just got in the Innis and Gunn Treacle Porter, will pick one up soon to try.

Stupid question, what is the going price for Innis and Gunn out there? :confused3

I had the regular rum finish.

Akbar sure gets around.
::yes::

New business model. Buy a few teeth from Kentucians for $1. Sell them to Tim for $5.
Sorry. Tim's tooth exchange shut down last year. Try FreezinMonkey's... word on the street is they give $10 for teeth.

Got a call back to the final round on a job interview today which is good, but brings with it a bit of a quandry. If it all does work out, (hoping and praying it does) it will cause a one month pay gap between my current job, which pays your last check on your last day of work, and the new one which pays monthly based on the prior month's hours. Knowing about it now, I can plan for it somewhat, though that calls into question just how we approach Christmas. Second issue, which is somewhat related to the first, is that if my last day is BEFORE 12/31/2012, I will get paid cash for ALL of my accrued time off hours. (Right now, that is 58 hours..would go a LONG way to helping bridge that gap.) BUT if I wind up leaving after the 31st, I can only carry over 40 to the next year. And since they blackout time off off during the last two weeks of Dec, it is going to be tight knowing whether or not to take an extra 3 days off mid month or hold onto them in hopes of cashing in but risk losing the hours. HOPING they make a hiring decision soon and don't play it out for weeks on end.

The job is very different than what I do now. Currently I'm in a call center helpdesk supporting Public Safety users. This would be in a school district doing "Real" IT work. (Fixing PC's, user training, network troubleshooting, etc.) The thought of being back in a hands-on IT department again makes me downright giddy.

I know there is no use worrying over what I cannot control. Indeed I am reminded of my grandfather's oft invoked musing "What is to be will be, even if it never happens."

I don't know exactly what that means actually, but I guess time will tell where the chips are gonna fall.
GL! Sounds like the new endeavor will be something you would really enjoy doing!

THIS::::
Split the difference. Burn 18 hours in early December. Then cash your maxxed out 40 hours if you get the new job.
+1

Baking. Thanks norm. You always come through for me. Turkey leftovers will be in the mail to you

Thanks. I installed a larger mailbox to get ready for you.

You can get a norm tattoo too

I never thought of getting a me tattoo. I could make it life size.

Way to ruin the surprise :(

He was talking to me. Seriously, whenever you want to take me for that tattoo, I am there.

Oh wow I am 8th, wounder how long that will last.

Patience, young padawan.

You got me at Belgium..which beer?

That's what I said.

Nah, we were just living the dream... 6th inning they had 3 beers that were $3. PBR was the best of the bunch. :lmao::lmao:

PBR gets a bad wrap. It's still beer.

Sorry. Tim's tooth exchange shut down last year. Try FreezinMonkey's... word on the street is they give $10 for teeth.

Same deal. Different state. He'll probably try some cheese exchange.

We have more.

Rachel McAdams and Jill Hennesey would be nice. But, are you sure we need to post pictures on this thread?

Interesting that everyone here complains of the prices, but they are pretty much the same here, give or take we round everything up or down to the nearest nickel.
We carry the Blonde, Rum finish and original, all 330mls, plus the original in a 750 ml size. At Christmas we get the same oak collection pack. We often get one shots through the year (Canada Day, we had an irish whiskey cask in March, a highland cask in early fall). Right now we have the Spiced Rum finish and the Treacle Porter as one shots. I've even had the opportunity to meet one of the sons from the company (Innis) during an LCBO seminar a few years back

Well done! :thumbsup2

The new gold dollars have presidents on them.
Honestly, I haven't seen them. I'm glad the gubment has transitioned us to coin dollars. :thumbsup2

Really? I just had P.F. Changs tonight. God help the people who will be running behind me in the morning! :lmao:

Nah, we were just living the dream... 6th inning they had 3 beers that were $3. PBR was the best of the bunch. :lmao::lmao:

They try to push PBR here as a "high-end" discount beer :rotfl2:

That's what I said.

We are having a beverly of a time getting good Belgium beers in, no idea the issue is. On;y Stella makes it through. No Duvel, no Leffe, and others are creepng in so slowly. Finally got some Chimay red after a month or so...:sad2:

OMG people shopping for Thanksgiving are crazy, been home since 7:45 almost killed a 12pack already, people really wait till the last minute to prepare:rolleyes1

I think we pulled the ultimate this year, told my parents we were going over to DW parents, we told DW parents we were going to my parents, guess what we are staying home:dance3:, this year is going to be good:thumbsup2, too bad I didn't get Fri off we wouyld have went to Va tonight:confused3

All this alcohol talk is killing me. I've been downing water all day.

ALL I WANT IS A STINKING BEER!!!!!!

Not yet but UPS just dropped off a crate that says FRA-GIL-E on it. Have to find the crow bar.

Must be Italian.

If I can ever get up to bourbon country, I'll make sure I have some extra norm tattoo money so he can get another tattoo to go with his hello kitty one :)

Thanks, about the riding, when your sitting in a hospital and you over hear the paramedics say that guy should be getting scrapped up off the road right now, it changes your outlook a bit lol

I don't really know any good tattoo places. I got mine in Louisville before I got married. I've rode a few dirt bikes, but never a motorcycle. The closest life altering experience I had was having my arm snapped in half at UPS. I still have the plates, screws, and scars to remind me.

I barely even see it in stores here... :rotfl:

Wow Ron, you pulled a fast one. WTG!

Tim you have to stop drinking that Bud light:lmao:
Bug Light? Not so much. I do drink it on occasion but my favorite all around beer is Long Trail. I've been drinking a lot of Dogfish Head 60 & 90 minute lately.
