You Seem Taller In Your Trip Reports. A Baby at WDW - *HOLY COW! AN UPDATE!* 4/17 p26

Loved that last photo of Ryder all sacked out in his little footie pj's.

When my kids were little we took them to see Thomas the Tank Engine at Tweetsie Railroad. It was mostly for DS who was four at the time, but our DD was 10 months old and she loved everything as much as he did. We had that Thomas stuff for about 7-8 years. I was so sad when they finally outgrew it.

Can I just say that your kids are so photogenic. That so happy in all their pictures. Especially Madison. She looks so happy I think she is going to burst and that's an adorable picture of her with Ryder.

Pixie dust on the race cars! Love it!

I'm just trying to figure out why this update was titled "Settling My Debt."

You sat in a rocking chair feeding Ryder and then ran when he needed a diaper change... :rolleyes1

Barry you filled him up and then bolted when he was ready to give back. :rotfl:

Looks like Ryder enjoyed his first, train and carousel ride. :goodvibes

Madison will win an acting award someday that expression is fabulous.

Evan with his evil grin on the speedway-be afraid be very afraid. :lmao:

I will give you points for taking Ryder and letting Bambi have all the nono rides this time.

Just because he did it once doesn't mean he did it again.

Of course not- He called that "settled the debt" :rotfl2:

Maybe we need to go back to the last TR and tally up how much he owes you.....

Then double it.:rotfl2:

He thinks the debt was settled after one ride. Not even close.

Still haven't done this.
No offense, but your life is not complete without it. ;)

Gee, I wish my doctor would have told me that. I wonder if she'll give me an excuse note for our trip next month?
Doesn't hurt to ask. Think Mark will believe you if you told him you were pregnant?

And the Academy Award goes to.....
Tell me about it. Sheesh.

She's good; no, she's very good (beware Daddy when those boys start coming around
I'm already polishing up the baseball bat.

Good Lord, what are you doing to your daughter?
She took it off my head and started to wear it. What can I say, my kids have good taste.:thumbsup2

That's as bad as the morons who stop in the middle of the row. Except in this case, if the person's foot got cut off, they'd be suing Disney in a heartbeat.
Probably, but with every heartbeat, he'd lose just a little more blood. Then his family would sue, I guess.

Oh, I'm sure you were more than willing to take care of Ryder's little predicament...NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I was. ::yes:: :rolleyes1

Love this...so sweet.
:goodvibes

As Mark asked in his post, I think Daddy should take him on it and let Ryder spin him until he pukes!
And as I told Mark - no.

Oh yes...that is definitely what Evan is thinking...I know, I've met the little tyke!
I wouldn't call him evil...but I don't know of a better word. :rolleyes1
Except maybe "chip off the old block". But that's 5 words.

Can't wait for the next installment.
Should be soon....ish.

Little kids get all the best stuff.

I took Evan to a model rail road show a few years back. He was too short to see much, so I had him up on my shoulders most of the day. He was having a ball, point me this way and that wanting to see every inch of every train. :thumbsup2

They get it from their mother. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Pixie dust on the race cars! Love it!
I'm sure it was high-octane Pixie Dust.

Barry you filled him up and then bolted when he was ready to give back. :rotfl:
Why would anyone want to hang around for that?

Looks like Ryder enjoyed his first, train and carousel ride. :goodvibes
Yes, yes he did.

Madison will win an acting award someday that expression is fabulous.
And I'm sure she'll "act" surprised when they call her name.

Evan with his evil grin on the speedway-be afraid be very afraid. :lmao:
You know him all to well.

I will give you points for taking Ryder and letting Bambi have all the nono rides this time.

Settling My Debt.

Well, the time had come and I dutifully hung out with Ryder in the Splash Mountain gift shop while Bambi took the older kids on the ride. And how did Madison feel about me not being on the ride?

A good start… we’ll se how you do when the real payment comes due latter on.

The Briar Patch store was pretty crowded, but I was able to snag a seat when it was lunch time. Or dinner time. Or whatever meal Ryder calls it when he gets hungry at 4 in the afternoon.

“Linner”

Early Bird Special at Dennys?

I’d like to think that Ryder would have better sense then to even enter a “Denny’s”

He heard the train coming, and as soon as he saw that brightly colored locomotive emerge from the tunnel, his eyes got as big a saucers. So I guess that thing with little boys and trains starts pretty much at birth, huh?

::yes::

Pretty much.
And if you’re mighty lucky…
you don’t grow out of it.

It was a nice, relaxing ride around the park. Except that the conductor had to keep coming on the PA to remind everyone on the right side of the train to not to put our feet down on the lower step, even having to go to finally start mentioning specifically the person in the 3rd car, 5th row back. Sheesh buddy, take a hint.

:sad2:

(And no, it wasn't me)

Sure about that?
Got proof or do we just take your word for it?

We made our way around into Fantasyland where the kids wanted to see Mickey's Philharmagic. Ryder of course wouldn't get much out of it, but we brought him into line with us anyway. He then made it clear that he had other plans. Not by screaming or crying or anything. No, it was much more subtle.

Here comes that test of true debt settlement I was talking about…

Bambi, not being as big a fan of the show as I was, volunteered to sit this one out and clean him up while I took the other kids. I'm sure I protested and offered to take him as the kids and I were sprinting into the pre-show area.

Suspected as much.
You still owe her… big time

That is a very happy lookin’ group of young’ens right there.

After the ride, we split up. Evan wanted to ride the Tomorrowland speedway before dinner, but Madison didn't.

Smart girl…

I drew the short straw (and had the healthiest neck and back to absorb the shocks) so I took him. And by the looks of it, I didn't get in the car fast enough.

That one will go a little bit toward that debt settlement.

So I hopped in, buckled us up and said my little prayer. See Evan's grin? He takes my prayers as a personal challenge.

Another innate characteristic of young’ens.

As we were driving and enjoying (read: contact high) the gasoline and exhaust fumes, I looked down and found out what these cars are actually powered by. Pixie Dust!

Maybe if they were to add just a little bit more…
The cars would float above that center rail.

Then I’d be considerably more willing to ride that one.

By the time we finished eating, we were all pretty beat from the long day. Everyone joined hands and strolled down Main Street, stopping to photobomb this poor couple's Photopass picture.

Classy…

Nighty Night…

I remember when my boy looked a whole lot like that.
My lord that was a looooooong time ago.

Always nice to know there are other dads as "into" Disney as I am :)

Yep&

You most certainly need to come on over to the dark sid&
I mean the DDC thread and check it out.

There are plenty of Disney obsessed dads out there.
Give the logo in my sig a click and it will take you right to it.

Already marked it as a favorite! Thanks for sending me in that direction! Now I have something new to distract me from all the other less important things in my life... like work :)

Don't just bookmark, come on in and introduce yourself...

We don't bite.

Wait - there's more?

“Linner”
Must be a southern thing, because I don't think I've ever heard that term up here round these parts.

I’d like to think that Ryder would have better sense then to even enter a “Denny’s”
He's much more of a Waffle House kid. :thumbsup2

Pretty much.

I haven't. :goodvibes

Got proof or do we just take your word for it?
I supposed I could post a picture of both of my feet, in tact and attached to my legs. :confused3

Who's side are you on?

That is a very happy lookin’ group of young’ens right there.
::yes::

That one will go a little bit toward that debt settlement.
At least I'm going in the right direction.

Maybe if they were to add just a little bit more…
The cars would float above that center rail.
Thus allowing them to smash into each other, instead of the rail. So...
Then I’d be considerably more willing to ride that one.
...Me Too!

I remember when my boy looked a whole lot like that.
My lord that was a looooooong time ago.
You should get him a pair of footy pajamas to take off to college with him. The nostalgia will serve him well when he gets homesick.

Already marked it as a favorite! Thanks for sending me in that direction! Now I have something new to distract me from all the other less important things in my life... like work :)
Work is where I get all my DISing done. :thumbsup2

knocked out babies on beds in disney are the cutest:thumbsup2
::yes:: no arguments here.

As I was going through the pictures for my next update, I realized that I didn't have any of my Photopass pictures in my normal picture files. So I went through, filed them all appropriately, and picked out the 2 best from our first day at Magic Kingdom.

"I hope to have the next entry done today."

That's off the record, by the way. If you try to hold me to that I'll deny I said it until the day I die.
