Melalosaurus Mozzarella - Seared Mozzarella with creamy marinara and Mozzarella fingers


Tarah said, "It actually came with 5 cheese sticks, oops!"

Pterosaur Wings - traditional style Buffalo Wings served with carrots, celery sticks, and Blue Cheese dressing

Triannasaurus Rex - Scallops, Shrimp Skewers, and Skirt Steak served over rice

Tyrannosaurus T-Bone - Charbroiled certifed Angus Beef T-bone steak topped with steak butter
and served with red skinned garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables

LOL. Sorry Barb. But I didn't send you a text in the wee hours of the morning. Honest. But that is kinda funny!

I guess that Heavenly Ham had a mind of its own! I'm glad it happened though because it gave me the idea of adding the "First Update of the Day" to the Scavenger Hunt List.

Also, we will be going back to WDW in January! Woo Hoo. We are going to be kinda all over the place. Right now we get there January 17 and leave the 21st. Plans are right now to be staying our first night at Carribean Beach, subject to change to Shades of Green, then going up to check out The Villages, then over to Clearwater for a night. We will be ending up at the Boardwalk on Saturday for the rest of our trip.

So, I would be happy to report again if you would like. We will definitely be eating at different places than we did on our last trip. As this will just be me and DH!

I would be very happy to have you again, Chris! I'll get you added to the January list.

We're going 11/30-12-9! This will be my first time reporting, but add me in!

Heirloom Apple Salad with Pistachio Vinaigrette, Local Greens, Rogue River Blue Cheese
& Tuna Three Ways - Poke, Tartare, Tataki



Couchy said, "The apple salad was 10/10 wonderful and full of flavor. It came with a hunk of blue cheese that complimented the salad and apple perfectly. DH had the tuna three ways and it was excellent, a 9/10. All the tuna had unique flavors. Good variety of flavors. Wished it came with soy sauce though."

Yoshie's Deluxe Sushi Platter with Maki and Nigiri


Couchy said, "I had the deluxe sushi for my entree and it was a 9.5/10. This was fantastic and so fresh. My only complaint is that there was wasabi in the rice."

Oak-fired Filet of Beef with Cheesy Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts, Bacon, and Teriyaki Barbecue Sauce


Couchy said, "A 9.5/10 for DH's filet. It was perfectly cooked. Fantastic flavors. Overall it was excellent!"

Appetizer D’Lirrah – Our Dalkey duo, Scallop forrest, Heaven on Earth & Nom Nom Wings as described below.
Dalkey Duo - Battered cocktail sausages with a Dalkey mustard dipping sauce.
Scallop Forrest - Georges Bank scallops in a golden batter served with citrus lime dipping sauce & sweet chili jam.
Heaven on Earth - Baby back ribs tossed in a Guinness glaze.
Nom Nom Wings – Sweet ‘n spicy wings tossed in a honey, chili flake, soy & ginger sauce.


Ellen said, "I like the Dalkey Duo best."

Lambo - Lamb shank braised in rosemary jus with mash, leeks, shiitake mushrooms & baby carrots.


Ellen said, "It was enormous! I had to share with Tyler."


Ellen added, "I have more pics but on my camera, so they'll be coming later."

She said, "On the way out of Downtown Disney, I saw this food truck outside of Pleasure Island."

Even though a menu pic would not normally be awarded a Scavenger Hunt point unless it were also accompanied by a pic of at least one food item, I am going to give this a point due to the "interesting" factor of this update. I didn't know that there were food trucks at Downtown Disney.

As usual, there's a ton of great-looking food in this thread. The creole burger at POFQ sounds really good, as does the Connecticut lobster roll at the food truck.

On CG's menu, I'd love to try the salmon or lamb flatbread, and then the caramel corn crème brûlée for dessert. Ugh, this thread is making me so hungry.

Thank you to the people who volunteered to be reporters today! I will be sending a PM tomorrow with my info to those of you who are leaving for WDW in November. We now could use one or two more reporters for these dates: Nov. 13 - 26 and Dec. 18 - 26.
Also from Dec. 27 on and throughout the month of January we need several more volunteers.

Couchy said, "The fruit, cottage cheese, eggs, and french toast were all very good and the danish was excellent. I did not like the ham, but the turkey sausage was excellent!

We added another night to our Thanksgiving trip. I don't know if I told you that trip was back ON again or not. We cancelled it because I thought I would still be in a cast, but my cast came off on Halloween so DH said book that trip again !! So, we are staying at SSR Nov. 21-25. Our dining plans are:
