What time is it now and how's the weather in your neck of the woods, Part 3

It's 11:20a and 60 degrees and STILL drizzling!

It's 11:20a and 60 degrees and STILL drizzling!

If I could box up some sunshine, I would send you some! We have plenty here to give away! I'll trade some of our sun for some of your fall leaves!:)

A beautiful morning for a nice, long walk, which I did earlier. It is now 9:40am, sunny and 80 degrees.

The temps here have been right around the 70's and 80's. Nights have been getting a little cooler, so you can definitely tell Fall is in the air.

Of course the Balloon Fiesta starts this weekend and the weather is supposed to get colder and more windy. Never seems to fail. :sad2: Hopefully it gets windy after the balloons have had time to launch and land. Only time will tell.

10:45 am and it's a beautiful day. Currently 63 degrees.

Sunny, 82º at 3;10 PM. Guess I'll have to cut grass tomorrow.

Whereabouts do you live? I'm totally jealous lol- we rarely get weather above 80 degrees even in summer.

We live in Tuscaloosa, AL. And I did mow the lawn yesterday!

We will have all four seasons but even in January and February it's rarely REALLY cold. We had a mild winter last year and I hope we have the same this year.

How was the weather for the Balloon Fiesta? Did you attend any of the events? I'm telling you, one of these years we are going to go!

Gorgeous morning in the desert! 10:40am, beautiful sunshine and 78 degrees.:cool1:

Put the hard top on my Jeep this weekend, summer is over

It's 930am, 55* and I'm still trying to figure out what that beautifully bright thing is in the sky. We haven't sen it for a while

GOOD MORNING TO ALL THE WEATHER DIS'ers!!! :cool1:

So I have been missing for far too long. I need to get back over here. :surfweb:

Hope you are all doing well.

So I have been traveling a bit. Tagging along with DH on all his business trips.

Just back from a multi city business trip for DH. Seattle(5 days), on to Boston(5 days), then to NYC(5 days) and back to CALI.

Seattle was awesome. Every day bright sun and so much to see and do. :thumbsup2

Last day in Seattle, I felt a cold coming on. :(

Off we fly to Boston (big scene on JetBlue as the idiot sitting next to me gets on totally DRUNK and with a cat that he insisted was going to sit on his lap. Nightmare begins as Security and Airport Police are called to handle this drunk who is calling Brett, me and Security all vulgar names) . My New England family all came to Boston and stayed at our hotel with us. We had 3 Suites. While it was FABULOUS seeing my family, I was miserable with my cold. I coughed all night long and never slept and by my 4th day in Boston had no voice at all. Friday morn, we have Amtrak to catch to NYC and Brett and I headed to Urgent Care to finally get me checked out. Bronchitis. They give me the Z-pack and Motrin 600 and MucinexD. Now I have NOT been sick in 7 years. Xmas 2005 was the last time. We make it in time for our 10am train to NYC.

Arrive in NYC. I am finally starting to feel good. Not great but good. We become tourists and do everything, sight seeing bus, shows, museums, restaurants, shopping etc etc. In the meantime, its the next day and I feel NOW like I have spiraled backwards. Coughing worst then ever. Up all night. Absolutely NO voice. If I go to order a cup of tea, clerks look at me like I have FOUR heads … :headache:

And now the worst. Sunday, freezing cold, dark, dreary we decide to go get dinner. I am walking, simply walking with New Balances on and it happens … I trip up and stumble over a really bad patch job of a NYC pot hole. We did not even see it as we walked across the street. I went right down on the ground. OMG. The pain was staggering and raging. Back to the hotel and ice it up. I laid low my last day in the city as Brett was working anyway. Ankle looks awful. Thank God for the Motrin 600.

Fly home Tuesday. See my MD on Wed for my cold and ankle … UGH … diagnosis … ANKLE IS FRACTURED.

Soooooooo, its me and my BOOT for the next month (anyway).

Recapping the weather. Seattle was BEAUTIFUL. Bright sun every day! Boston, 5 days of nothing but rain rain rain. Gag me. NYC, our first day there, sunny and warm. Then down hill from there, cold, rainy, dreary. I just needed my CALI SUN so badly.

Now I am HOME and loving all my SUN SUN SUN. Finally, my cold is gone. Yeah. ::yes::

:sunny: 10:47am BRIGHT SUN and 76 degrees. :sunny:

Hi Luv.
Yes, you need to come and see it.

For the most part, the weather was pretty good. The first day was windy and both night and day events were cancelled, but after that most of the week was beautiful. Some night events got cancelled because of wind and rain.

We didn't get to go to any events this year. Heather and I had to go out of town, so we missed it this year. On the nights we had a chance to go to the night events are the nights they cancelled them. Oh well, always next year.

Today is beautiful day. Sun is shining. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right.

1:08 pm and it's currently 68 degrees.

7:40 a.m. and just got into work from dropping DS off at his high school in the next town over. 26 degrees and black ice all the way, but my Nokian Hakkepelitta studs did me proud--I didn't even realize how slick it was until I stepped out of the car in his school parking lot.

Well after last night all is calm here today! Yes we had a earthquake, it was in Hollis, ME.......felt it here in Nashua, the house was shaking!

It's 2:55p and 61 degrees!

Hi Kar.

I have to laugh. Heather has a boot on to. Dr. says she has a stress fracture in her foot. She was showing me the picture of yours. See what you two get for trying to kick the men in your life?

I feel bad for both of you though but at least now you're back home.

Nice day here today. Just came from a walk outside. Getting in shape for WDW in December.

Sunny and currently 70 degrees at 1:27 pm.
