Big day for the Duck! I am attending my first ND game inside of Notre Dame Stadium.

I grew up a stones throw from ND and it was my dream to attend there. Economic issues at home did not allow that to happen. But, things happen for a reason and now I can check one more thing off the bucket list.

Next stop, Yankee Stadium

Good morning fellow dads, hope all is well and everyone's healthy and safe, I'm feeling alittle under the weather today, I guess the travel an being stuck on an airplane with people who are possibly sick has caught up with me. So I guess I'm gonna try to finish my TR today, since I'm chillin at home.

Don Mattingly was my favorite player when I was a kid. My grandfather immigrated to NY before moving to the Midwest so I grew up with stories of Gehrig, DiMaggio, Rizzuto, Ford, Dickey, Mantle, Berra, etc.

I think I have a Mattingly rookie card.

Hey dads. How's everyone. Broke three boards in taekwondo class. Got my mad hatter hat today (going as the mad hatter from the mad t party). Today's a good day and I only said peanut butter and Beverly when my daughter 's school called to tell me she ate a Rock. Hope you all have a good weekend. Which running dad am I supposed to support. Brought this over from the trip report. DW thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and saint canonization. If you all only really knew how it it ..... You would draw the same conclusion.

Yesterday was DW's birthday. While it is great to be able to give her a Disney vacation every year (coincidence that it occurs during school Fall Break ), it meant spending 13 hours in the car driving home yesterday. We have driven there before on her birthday, which works ok, but not as much driving home.

So, I had to make up for her birthday. Fortunately, I knew someone selling this stuff out of the trunk of the car.

I had planned to go to the store and get her roses and breakfast for her birthday, but I picked up a few extras as well - pink roses, Krispy Kreme donuts, a new pillow, and coke classic in those glass bottles. They just taste better this way.
