There will be a certain amount of thinning out as it is a school night - our EMH @ DHS is a Sunday too. I always take advantage of EMH. Even if it is crowded and you only get a couple of rides/attractions in, its a couple more than if you'd left at regular closing :thumbsup2

That totally makes sense. I think you have convinced me to do DHS EMH. :thumbsup2

Hubby and I started our treadmill work this week. Actually I have started the workout. He only did it one time this week with me yesterday. I really just wanted to do it to get us used to walking a lot but it would be fine with me if we lost 10 pounds or so! I'm shudder to think how much weight I'll be gaining since I expect to be trying LOTS OF CUPCAKES :)

Also, I don't want anyone slowing me down on this trip!

I love my treadmill and for me the benefit is my metabolism to burn off cupcakes!! And Nutella waffles annnnd ice cream. Hehe I was doing about 15-18 miles a week at the highest incline but feeling I need to burn extra calories to sustain my 8 nights and 9 days of treats in December! So looking like 25-30 miles a week until Disney!!

I'd have thought by now with all your tweaking and changing you would have changed the dates :p

Anyways .... you want to go to WL, I want to go to WL .... we'll have to coincide our trip ;)

Yay! I'm glad :goodvibes

Funny story. DH scheduled his vacation from work and I booked the resort back in Feb. We were talking a few days later and realized I had booked for the week before his vacation. :scared1: Ooops.

Um, I do believe that is that a snack credit symbol next to that pork shank! I'm thinking that and a cinnamon role would make a great lunch, and that would give us an extra dining credit to change another one if our ADRs to a signature restaurant. Hmm...must go play with the dining website now :)

I think the turkey leg is a snack credit so that would make sense. This definitely tops my CS list for FL. :-)

Ha! Bet that was an interesting few minutes :rotfl:

It was. We were talking about when to come home and he kept saying it didnt matter because Monday would be an easy day at work. After like the third time, I asked why Monday Dec 17 would be so easy. He was like, no that Monday will be Christmas Eve. Doh!! We went the second week of Dec last year, so I just assumed that is when we would go this year. He is just lucky we figured it out before I tried to make ADRs!

...looking at the schedule to see if I have any time where I might be slightly hungry whilst at FLE........

ETA: I'm sure to be hungry during the MVMCP night........our last ADR is at LTT @2:40pm. Do you expect Gaston's Tavern will be open during the MVMCP? Surely I'll be hungry by 5pm ;)

Anybody have a good point & shoot they like? Something small and cheap. ;)

I just ordered my son the Canon Powershot A2300. It's $98 on Amazon.. Anything less than that and the cameras don't have a rechargeable battery. (Which is why we're replacing his old one.) For a little more you can get the A2400 line which has image stabilization and some other improved features. For $200+ they have the Elph line. But either way, you can't go wrong with the Powershot. Canon has really cornered the market on P&S.

DD is in bed and DH is going out to jam with his friend. I <3 my bass player.

So that leaves me to plan!! I am really really considering dropping DHS now and just going there late evening. Thanks for feedback earlier.

Does anyone know how late they do the Disney Jr show? I guess I can consult the internets for that answer. The more I think about it, I love the first park day to be at MK so DD can have her first (non merry go round) ride in Fantasyland. I am going to be a bawling mess  so it also gives me more time to ride with her on Dumbo, Pan and Small World over and over again.

Exactly!! :-)

Yeah same here!! I think starting tomorrow... Today's workout was shot because of grumpy sick non napping kiddos....

Hope their feeling better.

I wish I could start exercising. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with an inflammation in my left foot from a cortisone shot last month :headache:. My podiatrist just switched my anti-inflammatory meds b/c the other one seemed to have stopped working.

OTOH, I am trying to watch what I'm eating so I don't gain anymore weight. I'll be making sure to try to use portion control for both DS10 and myself while in Disney as well as drinking a lot of water. DS is overweight for his age and height, although he is starting to lose the extra weight he gained over the summer. So it's a start :thumbsup2

We're planning on being at DHS during the evening of EMH too, only a week after you guys go. I'll be happy if we can get in one or two rides, Osbourne Lights, and Fantasmic! We have a 9pm ADR for 50's Prime Time Cafe then maybe head out after that....before the crowds start leaving :cool1: It's our first day at The World but we won't be there until the late afternoon.

Take out the EMH and that's our EXACT plan for our first day too - right down to the 50's Prime Time ADR! Great minds think alike!!!

I bought the Canon Power Shot SX260HS. It was around $300 when I bought it right after christmas......I do not love it, but I don't hate it either. I specifically bought it for this trip and I promised myself I'd use it so that I'd know the ins and outs of it.....but I always find myself using my dSLR all the time because it takes such fantastic pictures. On the upside, the new camera came with a darling wrap around short tripod.....I envisioned wrapping it around a tree or some fixture so I could take good fireworks pictures at MK. :lmao::lmao::lmao: It's small enough to throw in my small cross-body bag but who am I kidding....I'll probably use my Rebel more than anything. I will try to make myself use this silly camera between now and December.....did I mention that I don't love it?

I think dh and I will split the sampler platter. I also think I will "try" the PB&J shake :) Oh boy.......I'm talking about food again, aren't I? We just ate a bunch of hot wings.....gearing up for the biggest game of the year! Yankees just beat the Orioles......I was actually pulling for the underdog birds.
