The YC was amazing! We absolutely loved it!

The Poly is so pretty and it takes me back to my childhood when we stayed there a few times

Can't see your pictures, but I am sure your view is stellar and your arrival sounds perfect. Check in sounds like heaven and yeah to lunch at the Poly. I love the Kona Cafe and I am a big fan of those wings. Yum.

Such a killer rate on your car rental. So funny that you almost got away with "stealing" it.

6am flight. OMG! I would die since I can never fall asleep when I have to get up super early. But yeah to being on the ground so early.

I still detect a hint of a Walmart run.

Our view was lovely! I had subscribed to the Dis's Yacht and Beach Club thread and took their suggestion of upgrading to garden view and requesting the view of the wedding gazebo. It was perfect!
I love those wings and must have them on trips where we aren't doing Ohana!
We felt a bit like Bonnie and Clyde
I was so exhausted from the crazy last minute preparations for this trip that actually slept pretty well that night. I also napped on the plane which is rare for me

We never did leave the Disney bubble and hit Walmart. Please forgive me for how my hair looks in future pics

When it hit me I forgot them, I was sort of freaking out
I love Kona for breakfast and lunch (we've never been for dinner). The food is delicious and very reasonably priced by Disney terms. I hope you enjoy it!

Glad to hear it was a smooth flight down and the connecting flights didn't cause too much trouble. 10:10, definitely a good time to get to Disney on the first day. I don't think I've ever gotten to Florida at that time.

So jealous you got to stay at the Yacht Club. It looks so beautiful from all these pictures! And your view looks awesome! Club Level definitely seems worth it too. Oh a special card in the elevator, fancy! I may have to make note of Club Level if I ever consider staying at YC.

Mmmmmm... the food at Kona looks delicious! I could go for either or of those dishes. I'm just such a sucker for any steak or wing and it seems the ones at Kona are definitely the way to go. And the birthday dessert looks nice too, I love how they wrote Happy Birthday

Sorry to hear about the comb and brush situation! I hope this didn't become an issue for you for the rest of the trip. Those are essentials I'm sure. It's pretty hard to make a decent vacation without the essential, but of course it's Disney though I hope your hair didn't become part of this daily dose of drama though.

Love the pictures across the lagoon to the Grand Floridian! Such an eyesore that darn construction! Hope they finish soon because I would love to see the GF in all it's beautiful glory without gross cranes and cement trucks. Bleh!

Ugg, I've forgotten my hairbrush before. It seems much easier to forget than anything else. Glad you were able to find a replacement, even if it took a while. You would think they would be in all the giftshops!

I'm glad to hear that your DH was able to get a beer when he checked in. We're staying club level for the first time in April, and I'll be sure to tell DH about that. It would definitely start the vacation on the right foot with him, especially if it is a Sam Addams!
