It worked! There are pics of the seating area but not sure how current this is.
If you're out there MaryJo please let us know if this is current info.:)

So there's the meet and greet thursday night. And Fantasmic! another night (Friday or Saturday?). Is there something planned for the opposite night of F! ?

Friday is dinner at Carthay Circle (at least one of the options), and Kandace was saying it comes with seating for WOC. At least I think that's what she said.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved WDW, and would definitely go there again. I just like DL better. Maybe because it was my first Disney park experience (and my 2nd and 3rd), but I did still enjoy WDW. There were just some parts I didn't like. Riding buses everywhere was a big one. And it's just so big that we were so tired by the end of the week. Next time we need more off days!

That is why I go for 11 to 13 days.....yep. To NOT wear myself out. Have time to enjoy the resorts. Go to a water park. Go shopping. Take a day to drive to Vero to see the fam. :). I have it down pat!

Correct, as long as you get an entree with an appetizer or dessert you get a ticket for the VIP area for that night at your choice of show time. You aren't restricted to a certain menu like at WCT either.

Ooh! I'd be up for that! Hopefully I can save for it!

This for me too. I loved WDW, but there's just too much ground to cover. The fact that park hopping meant losing a good hour of the park day really messed me up. Next time we won't get park hoppers, we'll just stay at one park each day. DLR is much more comfortable for me, and if I want to go to DCA I can be there in just a few minutes without having to miss anything at all.

Be afraid be very afraid. :drive:

Does anyone know how many people can do a Fantasmic dessert seating at one time? I can call Disney, but I thought someone might know off hand. :confused3
We already have about 20 ladies signed up. Not sure how many more it will accommodate.

Bridget, how many were signed up in 2011? That's the year I didn't go...

You missed me!! I asked back when we were talking food. Oh probably 10 pages back :goodvibes

Is anyone wanting to see World of Color?? I am kinda wanting to see that one too. I hope there's time!
I didn't get to do this last trip, the family was work out and just couldn't hang with this old lady. :faint: So I hope to get a chance this time.

We mostly just picked a park a day, and on the last couple days went over to Magic Kingdom in the evening because it was open late. But we were soooo tired. My feet felt bruised on the last day. I love how easy it is to get to DCA. Just a 5 or 10 minute walk from wherever you are in DL. I also think that a lot of the rides are better in DL. Space Mountain is smoother, Pirates is longer, etc. Just seem to be in better shape in general.

I have to remember to check the thread at least once a day now, I miss so much chatter!

Hope everyone is doing well on this fine Wednesday evening.
Today the weather was cold, cloudy and I loved it! It's a 40 - 50% chance that it will rain tomorrow; looking forward to it!

I love this weather because it means holidays are right around the corner.

And it also means it's baking season! I made cupcakes last week and my mom made corn bread tonight. Very good!

Corn Bread is one of my favorite foods. Especially warm. Yummo!
Why is it not Friday yet?

I agree, we must fit EOS in there somewhere. I hope there will be ample seating for our large group. Since they haven't opened yet, we don't know. I think are supposed to open by Thanksgiving, is that correct?

I love me some cornbread too. Was thinking earlier today that I may make some over the weekend, along with some homemade chili. I may also whip up some honey butter.

I so wish it was Friday as well. This week is dragging. And I only worked half day on Monday, and didn't go in on Tuesday.

Hello, ladies! Just a quickie from me today. I am cleaning and decorating the house for Noelle's Halloween get together on Saturday. Tonight I've got grocery shopping to do.
My garage is such a freakin mess that I can barely get to my Halloween totes. It's not my mess....darn messy husband! lol
My kids don't have school tomorrow so I hope I can get it all done today. It's just harder to do stuff with them underfoot.

Anyway, have a good day all!!

No, I just didn't want to add you. :confused3

:p

Just kidding. Sorry, will add you now! Maybe.... :stir:

Mmmm, corn bread. It's best served warm with honey butter. Makes me wish I had some now! It's raining here and that would be perfect with some soup or chili.

I *think" it is in the neighborhood of about 70 total. We had 20 total that year and even added one more the day of. Everyone who wanted to do F! sent me a check prior to me making the reservation so that will need to be addressed in Jan.

We should also decide in advance if we can't get all the tickets we want for the 9 pm show, do we want the 10:15 show?

Gasp* I am on a Disneyland board and might have to say that I am Even Steven on my feeling for DL and WDW. I live 98 miles from DL, so I go often for day trips. Awesome. How lucky am I? However, since it is just a day trip, I get up in the early AM and take care of home and sundry, drive 1.5 to 2 hours to get there. Hurrah, I am here yippee, have a great time. But as the time heads towards 2:30-3:00 I start fretting or at least thinking about, do I want to leave by 3:00, or after 7:00? Driving from Anaheim to San Diego, you really want to pick one of those times. :) Then I drive the 2 or so hours home and try to catch up from a missed day of household stuff.

WDW, I am ON VACATION!!!! All I need to do in the AM is take a shower. Then out the door. No laundry, no pets, no vacuuming. It is liberating!! I feel so unencumbered. We always park hop and always make rope drop. My husband would not go likely if I made him ride a bus, so always have a rental car.

Day Trip vs. Vacation.

.

So, what time should I show for dinner?

And Beth - yes, we will end the hunt at Pacific Wharf.

Fantastic. You know what that means? Clam chowder in a bread bowl!! Delicious.

Cool day here. Very delightful.

So, what time should I show for dinner?

Thinking of doing it on Saturday since Sunday is pizza/football day. And lord knows Tay hates when I change things up like that. And anytime really. Will start it in the crock pot early and have it cooking all day so I can smell the yummy goodness while I do other stuff.

Fantastic. You know what that means? Clam chowder in a bread bowl!! Delicious.

Agreed, delish!

I so want to live where you live! Can we move in with you??? I can help with house work! What I wouldn't give to live near Disney!
