I just want to say that LisaCat is awesome pixiedust:pixiedust:

She gave me some great advice on how to get rezzies for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party for my WDW trip even though our dates were showing as completely booked, and today I got them.:cheer2::cheer2: Yeah, Divas.:cool1:

YOU GOT IN???!!!! AWESOME! I'm so glad I was able to help! :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1:

I went to DTD in FL back in 2004. I liked it a lot. Went back in 2010 and was SO disappointed with what it is now. Bleh. No plans to go there next month.

We have to go because I got my Uncle hooked on Earl of Sandwich, so now we have to go to DTD for dinner at least once each trip. Plus, I love it and until the DL one opens I only got to have it at WDW. I did find one in London on my last trip there - I'm probably the only person who went to Europe and stopped in their tracks when they saw an Earl of Sandwich sign!!!

That's funny. My husband got his boss hooked on them. We have two of them here in Vegas, but he'd never tried it until my husband told him how good they were. His boss went, loved it, and then not long after went on vacation to London where he sent us a picture of the one there that he and his wife went to go eat at.

I yell at my husband if he drives over 75 or gets too close to the car in front of him. Do I get to yell at you, too? :hyper: :rotfl:

It would be nice to have another car for Newport. I'm not sure who all is going. Some of the local ladies said that since they can go to DL anytime, they were interested in a day away at the beach, but now I can't remember exactly who was in. Katie? Linda? Chris? Mary Jo? Not sure...

We need to pick someone's brain who's more familiar with Newport than I am for good places to eat! It's Theresa's birthday that day and I know she wants to go someplace fun/nice for lunch. We'll be back in time for the Fantasmic dessert seating for those who are signed up for that.
Yell away but I get to sing louder then.:cool1:

Sure I'll share with you! :)
Oh yay I love it and now can't wait to share it.:thumbsup2

That is SO happening!

:thumbsup2
Oh glad you love the idea now to get it created. pixiedust:

Hmmmmm Capri this is dangerous cuz I'm crafty and know how to crochet.....

Everyone please take note on the quote above..... Y'all are my witnesses (just saying) ;)

I think that this calls for a quick stop to the liquor store for some beer!

Winning! (beer + crochet) :cool1:
Oh can't wait to see how pretty she will look :littleangel:

I agree with EoS, we have never eaten at one.... :)
I think you may need to plan a road trip....haha that's how I am with PF Chang's, but ours is closer then 250 miles. LOL

Camo Tink, I wanna switch roomies.......:rotfl2: kidding ;)
I want the purple one too.....purple is the best color ever right? ;)
I'll share a MC with ya!! ;) Love that thing!!!!!

:thumbsup2 winning is right! :lmao:

OMG you guys crack me up. lol Tonight my friend is coming over so we can do some costume work, we are going to make shrimp scampi for dinner, I'm excited!!!! :) I think for our Halloween party I might be a mermaid, I just have to figure out the skirt........ ;)

I know it sounds like a great way for Tink to hide in her camo wear :thumbsup2
I have another taker for sharing. Yay

For anyone interested in more information on the Photopass, please send me a PM and let me know if you're on Facebook or not. As the trip gets closer, I'll put information on Facebook and send a PM for those who are not on Facebook.
I shall make contact soon. ;)

It is replacing the book store that was in Disneylands DTD.

I wasn't a huge fan of the WDW DTD. I liked it, but it didn't have the same feel as Disneyland. Most things in WDW felt that way to me. Just not as...magical? Don't shoot me for saying that!
I just love WDW so much, and I feel more magic there but everyone has a fav. so it's ok we don't agree :lmao:

Oh so your both should be ashamed of yourselves for getting more addicted to it. I am now thanks to you. :rotfl2:

I promise I won't shoot! :). I grew up w WDW and I find things at DL strange to me. To be expected since I have been going to WDW since a kid. 2010 was my first trip to DL. I enjoy resort dining at WDW and Epcot I feel way so different about DL. Choices are scarce.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved WDW, and would definitely go there again. I just like DL better. Maybe because it was my first Disney park experience (and my 2nd and 3rd), but I did still enjoy WDW. There were just some parts I didn't like. Riding buses everywhere was a big one. And it's just so big that we were so tired by the end of the week. Next time we need more off days!

Does anyone know how many people can do a Fantasmic dessert seating at one time? I can call Disney, but I thought someone might know off hand. :confused3
We already have about 20 ladies signed up. Not sure how many more it will accommodate.

Bridget, how many were signed up in 2011? That's the year I didn't go...

So I'm leaving bright and EARLY in the morning for vacation. 3 days in Chicago for a wedding and then off to WDW. I'll be back the evening of the 26th. I've sent a pm to Stacie about the photopass and one to Melody about the sweatshirts. So I think I'm good on everything Diva trip related. I think I read that sign up for the meals wouldn't be until Nov so I should be safe on that. See you all when I get back. :wave2:

Crazy, I have a co-worker who leaves for Chicago on Friday for a wedding this weekend too! Strange.

Have you listed the price for the Fantasmic Dessert party? Just want to start getting a cost list going.

I need to add Jamay and Elise too. Hopefully it seats like 30 or more. I could only find the price, which is $59. I couldn't find the seating capacity.

I think the dessert seating is $60, but I can't find it online. I tried calling Disney right now and after being on hold for over 10 minutes I hung up.

I love all this planning going on! Makes it seem so much closer! Of course, I have a Diva Mini meet in less than 9 days and then my trip to WDW next month.... LOL

Hey, Beth - with at least two Lisas on this trip you can list me as LisaCat. I will answer to that if someone calls it out. I also answer to "LC" and "S-mom" (my previous screen name for everywhere- SandiMom, LOL)

I wanted to say $59, so that's probably close

If there are two showings we might have to break into two groups. Especially because we won't be the only ones booking, kwim?

So there's the meet and greet thursday night. And Fantasmic! another night (Friday or Saturday?). Is there something planned for the opposite night of F! ?
