Good morning everyone!


And for November, I am badly in need of volunteers for Nov. 14 - 30. Most of these days we have no one doing live updates.

So if your trip includes any of these dates, please consider joining our "Live Reporting" team. And of course, even if your trip falls during a time when we already have adequate coverage, we could always use more. So anyone that wants in on the fun, just let me know!

We will be there 11/16-11/23. I always have the best intentions but fall into a post Disney funk, and never get the food report finished! If I could text you the pics, I think I could do it!

I received these updates from SEASONK tonight...


She said, "We checked in late yesterday afternoon, and headed to Epcot. Our plans were to ride a few rides and then eat and drink around the world BUT the rain came so DH grabbed a beer and we headed to the exit. P.S. My family is not used to be taking pictures of food and drink, DH had already taken a sip or 2 before I could take a pic.
Anyway this is a Altenmünster Oktoberfest in the 22oz stein."

SEASONK said, "This was breakfast this morning from the Caribbean Beach Resort (which is where we are staying). This is the Bounty platter with eggs, potatoes, French toast, biscuit, and choice of bacon or sausage. We chose bacon. The potatoes were very good. Everything was just ok. It served its purpose to fill us up, but that was about all."

"The other is the adult Mickey waffle plate. This came with the choice of bacon or sausage. We chose sausage. Of course the waffle was delish, but I love Mickey waffles so I am a 'lil biased . I didn't try the sausage but DH said it was "alright"."

SEASONK said, "First sorry about the picture quality, we were sitting by a window, great for people watching not so great for cell phone pics. This is the fried shrimp platter from Columbia Harbor House. DH and I split it and it was plenty for both of us. We both thought it was good, being from Louisiana we are picky about our shrimp. We both agreed it was nice to have something other than a burger or chicken strips for a in the park counter service.
I hope to have some more pics tomorrow, that's when our dining plan begins."

And finally, I'd like to do a little more recruiting of "Live Reporters" for this month and next.

For the month of October, we are a bit light on reporters (with only one or maybe two) for these days:

Oct. 16 - 20
Oct. 29 -31

And for November, I am badly in need of volunteers for Nov. 14 - 30. Most of these days we have no one doing live updates.

First off, I have to say...I LOVE THIS THREAD!! I go on every morning to see the amazing DFP (disney food porn ) that people post from the day before. What a fantastic idea!! I wasn't sure if you're recruiting for December yet, but we will be heading to the world December 10 - 16 and I would love to send some pics your way! We take pictures with our phone of the food and post it on FB anyway, so why not post it for people who will actually appreciate it!

Anyway, thanks again for this wonderful thread!

Hi Amber! Yep, I have your trip on the list, but if you are by chance interested in doing a few live updates (either by text or email) while you are there please let me know. We especially need someone for the first couple of days of your trip.

I am SO sorry I haven't been able to send pics. Our MNSSHP got rained out Thursday night. We spent 2 hours IN THE RAIN in order to get replacement tickets for the following night so we had to cancel our luau plans and hit up the party once again. Needless to say, it was a late night and I haven't had a chance to send our pics (but I took plenty of them!) I will email them now so hopefully they'll be posted soon.

I second the well wishes to NOP and her party for a fabulous trip!!!

That Kitchen Sink received very strong ratings from the happy eaters!! I suppose there's enough to share that you don't get too many spoon fights. I wonder if they can give you little bowls to scoop out your portion and not have a communal trough?? I'm not at all like that but we may travel with someone who would go completely crazy over anyone dipping their spoon back into the bowl.

I think I read a review somewhere that said you DO get little bowls with it... But I've never been personally, so I can't say for sure.
