Shout out to all the Dissers from PA!!

Hello, We have season passes too. My girls (well 2 of them) are ride lovers and ride things that I don't. :scared: Now that they are older it is nice for DH to have someone to ride with (most rides).

I can't wait for the new water part to open this year. :woohoo:

Hi PaulaSue!! Why is it that the only other Paula's I know are also from PA???:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Paula

Hiya, PA friends!! :) We're from Chester County, a bit west of West Chester, and pretty darn close to Lancaster County.

Anyone close by?

I live close to Hershey too - about 15 minutes away. What brought you to PA?

My DH is in the military and that is why we are in PA. Our first tour of duty, oh so many years ago, was in New Jersey and we made many trips to PA. So, when we were offered a tour here we jumped on it quickly. It was a bit rough on us last week when the temps dropped since we have lived in warmer regions for the past 8 years. However, knowing that our trip south to "The Land of Dreams" is only a few weeks away, helps to keep us warm.

Counting down the days!!!!!

Where are all of the Folks from Bucks County?????

I am from Ivyland, PA-born in Bristol, PA.

I live in Bucks County, halfway between Philly and Allentown. I grew up in CA, but have lived on the East Coast since college. Everyone always asked why I would live in PA, but it sounds like all of you understand how nice it is to live in PA!

Hey everyone ...I am in Delaware County, just outside Philadelphia! SO nice to see so many PA friends on here!:cheer2:

Paula

It is a PA dutch kind of thing, I think but I was named after family. TG I wasn't a boy, my parents were going to name me Jackson after Jackson 5.:rotfl:

All the Paula's I know are in LLL.

Just checking in here....We are from the Scranton area.....we're arriving on 2/1 and can't wait to get away from the dead of winter for a week :thumbsup2 I'm already MAJORLY into the countdown mode haha.

For those of you who earlier mentioned they are big fans of Hershey...if you have a family I STRONGLY urge you to check out Knobels if you have not already done so. It is absolutely my favortie place to take my family (well...this is our 1st Disney trip so we will see if that lasts) It's REALLY affordable and the atmosphere is just amazing. Excellent food and reasonably priced (unlike Hershey  )

Hi all! Checking in from Kenhorst, PA (Reading Suburb). We are going to Disney the first week of March oldest DD goes to Alvernia University & has Spring Break then.:cool1:

Hello to all in and around Reading!:) I grew up 20 miles north of that area. I still work down there. We'll be in Disney March 28-Arpil 4. :dance3: Hope you all have great trips!!

To everyone who saw in previous posts that we were surprising our DK's with a WDW trip in May (8-16) I made letters saying MM was waiting for them to arrive and that we would be there in 135 or so days. . . . the kids could not open their letter until each of them (3) found their own letter, they opened them all at the same time. . .. and we shocked, but every bit as excited as I was to let them know.

We have now begun the search for decent airfares or I saw one of you takes the auto train, I just looked into that, and was SO shocked at how much better the prices were, , , , under $1000, like $927 for 2 adults 3 kids and the car. . . . only I am not sure whether my Durango is "regular" or "oversized", I priced it for "regular" but think it might fall into the oversized class. I think we will get the autotrain. . . cancel the night at the POR, so we save that price since we will be sleeping (?) on the train and we are looking at this as a new adventure in traveling.

Whomever has traveled on the autotrain, please IM me, I have some questions. . . .

Drove it once from the Reading area. Flew down the next two years from Philly. Both ways where a pain in the butt. Might try the auto train next year.
