But...But... Why?!?!?! What happened? :(

I am sorry that I can't really give more details at this time.

I heard they had left for a European Vacation. Bon Voyatchee Noodle family. Go enjoy your vacation! You've earned it!

That is a nice thought! If I get a postcard from the English Channel, the Trevi Fountain or the Roman baths, I'll let everyone know.

Here is one of the pictures taken by cindydare, featuring someone's favorite lamp:

I have pictures Teena sent me from her cruise, but I am going to wait until Tuesday to post them so she can respond to any comments- I believe Teena is working today and tomorrow, and hopefully she will have her internet connection restored by then. Monday, she thinks.

Thanks to all of you who make this thread such an informative and entertaining place to hang out. :wave2: It makes the anticipation of our first trip to YC, (and WDW) so much sweeter!

Can I pick your extensive collective knowledge and ask if anyone knows of any yoga classes offered at YC/ BC or, failing that, anywhere else in WDW?:hippie: Thanks

When we were last there, (November 2010) there was yoga on the beach at 7 a.m I think. Will be back in 7 weeks but someone else may have more recent information.

Here are some pics from our recent trip! Hope I can do this right :thumbsup2

To do online check in or not to do online checkin? That is the question. We leave in 10 days. We're traveling with two adult children and would really prefer a room with a day bed. Should I do online check in or arrive and beg? Thoughts from the experts?:confused3

This is the first time I did not do online check in because I really wanted a wedding gazebo view and wanted to be able to confirm it. There was no waiting in either line so the only difference was my packet was not preprinted and waiting. But while speaking about the wedding gazebo with the CM he nicely upgraded us to water view. I won't be doing online check in anymore ;)

Lalabubbles, adorable photos of your daughter and love the pictures of BC!

CindysMom, if the daybed is important to you, then skip online check-in. Online is really for those who just want to grab their keys and go. We've checked into BC during many different seasons and different times of day, and have never had to wait in a check-in line (except once - more on that in a minute!) We're arriving in just six days and we'd really like a full balcony, so we're going to do regular check-in when we arrive. That way, if we don't have a room with a full balcony when we check in, we can ask for one. Your chances of getting what you request will increase if you're willing to wait longer for that room.

As for the only time we waited in line at BC check in, that was when we checked in online! A guest in front of us in the online check-in line was dissatisfied with her room assignment and had a long list of very specific requests. She did not "grab and go!" When a regular check-in line CM became available, he moved over to help us - with many apologies and quick efficiency! Not a big deal, we just thought it was ironic!

It doesn't surprise me that the noodles may have a mind of their own. We wish them luck in their travels!!

I did want to take a second and say thanks Dee! You do a great job on this thread, and your work is so appreciated!!!:cool1:

Thanks so much. As tempting as it is to "begin our stay" by doing online check-in it sounds like I should be patient. Thank you!:thumbsup2

I know exactly how you feel! It's hard to resist when the WDW website is inviting you to get started! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. THIS is my happy place!!!!!!!!

Mine too! Is it time for our BC/YC DisMeet yet?????
It's so funny how we have the same taste in restaurants - so far we've run into you (or stalked you!) at Narcoossee's, California Grill and Sci-Fi. Who knows what awaits next summer!

6 days for us too! I'm posting just so I can see my ticker. :dance3: I am so excited. My mom is flying in and we're driving and we're meeting on Saturday afternoon. My mom has never been to WDW and she's basically coming to see the grandkids, but she's not like a Disney convert yet. Ha! I know that by the end of this trip she'll be converted. We're celebrating her 65 birthday, which is next Tuesday. I thought about booking someplace new, but BC was the first place we went as a family (my husband and I and the kids) and we had such a great time, I wanted to go with the 'true and tried' for this trip. I am going to start packing tomorrow, and I need to write the notes to the teachers and finish my list of noshes from F&W, based on the pics from DisneyFoodBlog.

Once I finally put my son in Sandcastle Club I couldn't stop! He begged to go there all the time. I can't believe I actually felt guilty about doing it in the beginning!! He's 12 now and will be too old. He'll probably still want to go back!!!

Our big family trip will be July 2014. I think I can actually start booking rooms sometime next spring.

Don't worry, Robyn. Still planning a short trip for next year's DisMeet!

Wenny and Vinotinto, I'm a member of the "6 day club" too! We're SO excited and can't wait to be back at BC!

Robyn and YCFan, I always think of the two of you when we plan our own "in room celebration," so had to report the plan for this trip. The Mickey Pumpkin ear hats, personalized Mickey Pumpkin cinch bags from Etsy (for MNSSHP trick-or-treating), glow sticks, Halloween Mickey Plush and a "credit" for a MNSSHP t-shirt. It's a small celebration, and I'll need to run to the room to set it up myself this time, but I'm very excited. Thanks again to both of you for all the inspiration! :)
