Well, as I suspected Fran did not pick out a place for dinner, nor did she want any. It took getting her in the car and starting to drive before she fessed up. How do I get her to just be honest about how she feels physically? I knew she wouldn't want to go, but she won't tell me this stuff. She doesn't even want to be here right now, but couldn't say that when we were in Long Beach.

So I'm at the hotel restaurant sucking back a Martini (Gibson, as I despise olives) waiting for my dinner. Oh well better than taco bell.

I hope that the hotel restaurant provides decent food. By the sounds of things, they might have a reasonable bar.

They are known for their pea soup, which unfortunately I don't like. However my dinner was good enough. I bought Fran a Cinnamon Roll in the bakery and then made her a sandwich with my leftover Wienerschitzel and onion cheese bread. Not hungry? I think not, she just didn't want to go out.

Your dinner sounds nice. I love pea and ham soup but sadly don't make here because DH wouldn't eat it.
