HHN website

I want spoilers! Can't someone start a thread for HHN Spoilers? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

Thanks!

:goodvibes

Yes spoilers for me also. After reading comments on a group, I really need to hear what you thought so far. I know it was preview and you can tell us better after this weekend but for me the more I know the better LOL

Silent hill? Silent Hill? :confused3

So which is the S&S 1st house?

Cheers!

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

There was no Stay & Scream yet, but Silent Hill is in the "first soundstage" position that is normally the first house opened in S&S.

Great, thanks! I will try to call this weekend and see what I come up with.
Just spent 30+ minutes on the phone with ticketing at Universal. The Scream Early pass is only available for FL residents this year. Not happy about that, was looking forward to some extra park time. If anyone has sucess getting a pass w/o being a FL resident, let us know. Maybe I just got an uninformed agent.

To all the DISers headed out tonight: have fun! Be sure to tell us how it went when you return. :)

I still have less than 2 weeks to go... *sigh*
I'd forgotten how long those final weeks are.

Okay, I have read about 15 pages of this thread to hopefully find my answers, but eventually gave up and decided to post my own questions.

We will be at Disney next weekend, and decided to give HHN a try on Friday, the 28th. We purchased our 3 day park tickets at Costco about a year ago, and have used one so far. I asked earlier about buying the S&S, so I know I'll have to do that at the gate.

We don't want to use our park tickets that day, so what time do we need to get there? We're doing the ToT 10-Miler at Disney the next night, so we wanted to eat pasta for dinner on Friday and we hoping to grab it at Pastamore before we go in to US, we're just not sure what a good time to get over there would be.

Is that Friday a good night to go? I know that it's the 2nd weekend, so hopefully the rush of people to have the first look is over and it's not quite close to Halloween, so the rush for Halloween fun hasn't really begun (I hope!). I guess I'm just wondering if the Express Pass is going to be a necessity or not. This is the only night we can go, since Saturday we're busy with the race and Sunday we're doing MNSSHP. I would hate to spend another $120 for DH and I, but if that's going to be the only way we can see everything we want to see, I guess we'll have no choice.

And are there any maps of US that I can see before hand to plan out our night?

Thanks!

if you are not going to use your day ticket and only want to do hhn, be at the front of the park around 5ish so you will be up front in the line.

the park opens at 6:30 and if you are close to the front entrance, you'll be in the park pronto.

hopefully no one in front of you will have issues going thru the metal detectors. if that happens, it can tie you up a few minutes before you can go thru them.

if you wait and go to the wait line at 6:00, you will have plenty of peeps ahead of you.

if you are staying until closing time (2 am), and get in line around 6ish, you should still have time to do the hhn event as much as possible. so, that could work also if you plan to eat at city walk prior to hhn.

buy your discounted hhn ticket when you arrive at UO that day.
go to the GS outside of the park to buy them.
(show your day ticket/cosco so you can get the discounted price)

you need a park ticket to enter the park before 5 even if you are only planning to go directly to the sNs holding area.
since you don't plan to use a day ticket that friday, you will need to wait in the regular entrance line.

it is difficult to say what time that entrance line outside the park gates will start to get crowded.
fridays always brings in crowds.

if the lines are too long for you, you can wait and buy the ep inside the park once you are there.

you probably want to do all the houses and bill and teds show.
if that is the case, and line waits are an hour or more, then think about buying the ep.

the scream express is $20 which allows you to enter park between 3:00-5:00
it is for Fl residents but i have read on other boards non residents have bought them.
of course, this might have changed by now.........
some peeps always get thru the loopholes when special tickets are available.
if you are interested in the scream express ticket, call and get current information if you are eligible for it.

if you enter early without having to use a day ticket, it would only cost you $40 then.
with that, you would not have to be there early to wait in the entrance line.

if you go back 4-5 pages, you will see my post where i link the hhn map.

So, if we did decide to use a park ticket that day, what time would we be moved to the holding area? I see that the park closes at 5 that day, so I'm assuming we would be moved to holding at 5? And then we sit in the holding area until 630? Do they open both the front entrance and the holding areas at the same time?

The holding area gets about a 30-45min head start from the front gates opening.... plus, no metal detectors or gate ticket issues to slow down the crowd.... AND you are MUCH closer to the first houses than the front of the park people are.

i have been released from the holding area at 5:45 on some past dates.
also have waited there until 6:05......

it all depends on the date and how long it takes to clear out the day crowds.

you can get 3 houses completed before the park is officially opened when you stay in the holding area.

i always repeat those first three houses i do early.
it's not that dark out when you hit them around 6:00, so i return later for a redo.

This.

OK I'm sorry but I need clarification. Does SS allow you to go around the park or is it a confined area that is basically a wait line for HNN?

You are in a holding area waiting to be released into the park...you cannot wander around the park. From 5pm to 6:30pm is when set up is taking place so you are basically waiting for HHN to start.

Metro, you're back from hhn!

was it fun even though it rained?

are you going back again tomorrow night?

did you get all the houses done tonight?

Yes, probably and yes...well two done Wednesday night and the rest tonight.

Is anyone else here playing the Horror Unearthed game on the site? Which Legion did you join? I went with the Maschorians. We aren't doing so well, but I don't care... we're awesome ;)
