A very nice first day, but an exhausting one (didn't get our room assignment until 8:15 p.m.). Had two DIS meets today and it was great meeting them both (nope, you'll have to wait to the TR to find out who!).

Mark's snoring already and I'm about to go to sleep myself as soon as I charge the camera, the phones, etc.

Studios first thing in the a.m. I'll try to post an update or at least a teaser picture at some point.

Night all...and thanks for those who have recently posted about Mark's mom.

Oooh...I really love that umbrella hat! That would come in so handy. Much more stylish than a poncho!

And it has the added bonus of poking people's eyes out in a crowd, so maybe you could actually save a parade/fireworks spot once in a while!

Kathy, so glad you guys are having a good time so far! When I posted my sendoff from my phone as you guys were trying to leave for the airport, I saw your post thanking people for their love and support and thought it was still from all the people telling you guys how much you deserved a great trip. I feel terrible I completely missed the post about Mark's Mom passing! So glad she went quietly and that her suffering is over.

Just know that you and Mark are both in my thoughts and prayers, and I am so glad you were still able to enjoy this much deserved trip away. I know Mark is hurting, but hopefully this trip will give him a chance for the necessary need to deal with his grief and remember all the fun and magical memories of his Mom! I know the magic of Disney will give him strength and help him through this!!!
