I've wanted to try once before but DH was like 'It's Disney...they probably put pearls in them just so they can make a buck' LOL! I do think this year though I'll let each of my older girls do 2 for their bestfriends.

I had heard of it before but never really thought much of it. But now after reading about it again here, I'm thinking I'd like to get one for myself when we go.

I picked the ugliest oyster I could find. I ended up with an 8 1/4 bluish gray pearl. It was really pretty. I don't have it set yet, but the one my daughter picked is and she wears it all the time. It was definitely something different to do. We try one new thing per trip and that year, that was our thing.

So I was told to try and get the retractable sharpie markers for characters to autograph. I bought a photo mat and am going to have the characters autograph that.

So should I buy the ultra fine sharpies or the regular ones?

Got Mickey Mail today! our ME documents came today. We are still 48 days away! This is the earliest we have ever gotten them. Feels more official now with mail!

63 more days! Yay!!

I had everything planned out, and where we were going to be eating each day...but lately my little one has been having many tummy problems and many tests being checked(cystic fibrosis, celiac disease) so he's on a gluten free diet for a while. Now I'm researching which qs restaurants have gluten free meals!

We just use the regular retractable sharpies. They are great and the characters love using them....easy to hold, open, etc. we bought our current pack from Costco. They sold a pack with 8 or 12 colors. They are great!

I made the final payment on September 5. Since you are only two days behind us, maybe you will get your ME stuff this coming week.

Dang, we paid ours off in May when we booked it and no Mickey Mail for us yet. Looking forward to the cool new luggage tags.

Also, to correct myself from earlier, the place I went to before was Pearl Factory, which if I understand correctly, is different than the Pick a Pearl place in Epcot. I know... that is what I chalked it up to... Reading all of the changing going on... Realized that getting rid of T-Rex, which was a DH pick for DS, for another one of mine isn't a good family decision... As much as I'd like this entire trip isn't totally about me.. (only 1/2!!)

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to start a new week. Our daughter and her family are going back to Virginia today, so I'll keep busy down in my sewing room. I'm making outfits for our grandchildren for Christmas, plus a few gifts for friends.

72 days sounds soooo far away when I'm ready some of you in the 50s!! But I have lots to keep me busy between now and then, so I know it will be here before I know it. Hope there will be more Mickey Mail reports this week!
