What a great mini-vacay! I know what you mean...I have such a hard time with keeping secrets. Sometimes it just slips out. But DH still has no idea I upgraded from QS to regular dining. Here's to being able to keep our secrets a little while longer.

Next week DH and I are going to see Selah in concert near here. It is FREE!!! So I know it will be crazy. We'll have to go very early to get a good seat. My oldest granddaughter's name is Selah. Not for the singing group, but for the part in Psalms. My daughter didn't even know there was a Christian singing group by that name. Anyway, looking forward to the concert!

Hope everyone has a great day!! We are taking our granddaughter to Amish country for lunch and to a petting zoo. She's 3. It is beautiful out today with just a tiny bit of chill in the air. Perfect!

Just to clarify: This is not an IPhone 5-exclusive feature. A 4S or fifth generation iPod Touch updated to/using iOS6 will also do panoramas. There are also a ton of apps that can do it well on older models. (I'm sticking with my 4S for a while... Maybe until 5S...)

You're right! I found out after I posted that it's a feature that will also be included on the 4S, so if you don't have an iPhone 5 don't feel left out!

I forgot to mention one of the cool things that happened last weekend. DD1's birthday was last weekend and one of her friends got her a new Cinderella dress! We were going to bring her Rapunzel dress and now she'll have a Cinderella dress too. Her old one was much too small so this is a pleasant surprise.

Morning all

AOA Lm opens today so im excited to see some new pics. i cant believe sept is almost over ahhhhh still so much to do. Disney has still not taken our payment that we made on weds so im a lil nervous. Really gonna start cracking on finishing all my projects because soon it will be packing time.

When does everyone seriously start? i have put all of the new stuff i bought in the suitcase but thats it.

I start packing after I'm no longer wearing my shorts and stuff. It's just DH and me, so it's easy to accomplish. I like waiting until closer to the trip. Somehow, seeing a half filled suitcase sitting there makes me just want to go already! I do start gathering my paperwork and any tickets, envelopes, gift cards and such and leave it on the loveseat in our bedroom. I hate to think I might forget something important.

I'm also excited to hear about AoA LM opening today. I heard there will be a drink station near the pool so we may not have to make the quarter mile hike for a drink.

As far as packing goes, this may sound horribly sexist but for all trips I leave that up to my wife. She is very particular about what is brought and how it is put in the suitcase so I let that be her project. Sometimes she asks me what I want to wear, sometimes she doesn't. Often I get to our destination with no idea what I have to wear. She usually has it mapped out for me each day. It works for us. We will be packing the night before most likely. Since it is supposed to be a surprise we are sending DD2 to grandma's the night before and will pack while DD1 is at school. Then we will pick her up from school and head out!

Not sexist at all. I pack everything for DH and I. It's just easier. Since we go every year, I pretty much know what to bring. But I always make a fresh list every year just because I love to write everything out. I plan everything to do with our trip and DH just sits back and enjoys. We both like it that way.

Not sexist AT ALL - I totally cancel you out because I leave it all to my husband!!!!!!!
He wants it all in a certain place, and I have no problem letting him do it!

Only backfired on me once.... I hung the shirts I wanted to take on the doorknob, forgot to tell him, then got to the beach with NO shirts, not even one. I would have accused him of some evil plan to make me go topless, but we were meeting his parents and grandparents there!

I had lots of Myrtle Beach T-shirts that year!!!

Got Mickey Mail today! our ME documents came today. We are still 48 days away! This is the earliest we have ever gotten them. Feels more official now with mail!

Hope everyone had a good day! We went apple picking today. The kids had a blast. It was beautiful weather. Great day!

I had everything planned out, and where we were going to be eating each day...but lately my little one has been having many tummy problems and many tests being checked(cystic fibrosis, celiac disease) so he's on a gluten free diet for a while. Now I'm researching which qs restaurants have gluten free meals!

Nope. Confirmed now: no drink station at LM. Just Big Blue pool and food court. :-(

Bit of a bummer as that quarter mile walk isn't really conducive to using the mugs they give you with the DDP. We will have refrigerators though, so we will most likely have stuff in the room and the refillable mug will just become a souvenir to take home. Another reason to bring our Keurig too.

I did read a report this morning of it only taking 6 minutes to get to LM from the main hall, though. So not as bad as reported previously...

Wow, that IS early! Yay for Mickey Mail...whenever it comes!!! I have to confess every time I go to the mailbox, I go in hopes of finding Mickey Mail there!!

Awww, sorry to hear about your little one. That's no fun. I've heard that most food places are able to accommodate special requests, even the QS places. I have no personal experiences, but I'm sure someone will weigh in with some great advice soon!

We have exactly 10 more days to wait than you do. Can't come soon enough for me!

You'll need to update your phone to iOS 6 when it's released, probably within the next week or three... Or you can try out one of the existing panorama apps.

With no coffee maker in the room and "free" coffee requiring that I get dressed to go get it, it's a simple solution. We are driving so it will be easy enough to throw in the car and bring along. With early starts planned it'll make for a much happier daddy!
