I love Canada in World Showcase, but it seems like it is way down most Guests' list of favorite WS Countries.:)

Are there any other Canada fans?:)

I think the Falls area and the Gardens area are 2 of the most beautiful areas in all of WS,but there never seems to be a lot of Guests there.

I DO think they need to put something,ANYTHING,back in the Hotel-that area does not "flow" at all!:)

Canada has the best entertainment IMHO in WS with Off Kilter and the most "in-demand" restaurant in all of WDW(well, before BoG!;):))in Le Cellier.:)

Canada has some really neat Hidden Mickeys and also one of the best "hidden secrets" in all of WDW-the totally cool "IllumiNations Rocks"!:)

Finally Canada always has an awesome Cast!:)

As a proud Canadian- :thumbsup2 couldn't agree more. I think the whole pavilion is like Canada in general: we do what we do, and we do it well. We just don't make a lot of noise about it. I do agree that they need to get something into the hotel area. IIRC back it the olden days there was another retail space there. Not sure what they could put in, but it's a lot of prime wasted space right now. And I dearly wish they'd replace those ugly lumberjack costumes with something nicer.

If Canada seems less appreciated in EPCOT it's probably only because it seems less exotic than the other countries. I think it's one if the most visually appealing places in WS.

Being Canadian, I do *like* the Canada Pavillion, but it doesn't really represent alot of Canada. For example, neither myself nor my husband have ever worn a lumberjack shirt?? LOL

I've always thought it would be the perfect spot to put a skating rink! Wouldn't it be cool to rent skates and skate in Disney World?

At the very least it would be fun to people watch during the Food & Wine!

We love Canada! The grounds are beautiful, and we find the movie with Martin Short hilarious. I can't tell you how many times one of us quotes "I have a Fastpass for Soarin'...hate to miss it"

We had actually gone up to Niagara Falls last year, and then eaten at LeCellier a few months later. We had such a good time talking the CM's who were from that area.

I have always loved the Canadian shop. It is the best place to buy great pajamas. Each year I get another night shirt.

Aesthetically it's terrific, but it needs something different in the way of an attraction. At the bare minimum, they need a new movie. It really needs something more unique than a movie. I'm not sure what that is, but that's why Imagineers get the big bucks. I wouldn't mind seeing another restaurant in the pavilion as well.:earsboy:

In 2008 we took a family trip to WDW and ate at Le Cellier. My husband was mortified since, as canadian's, why would we eat at the Canadian pavillion and NOT Italy or Norway???? Anyway, we walk up and the CM who seated us turned out to be the Son of one of my husband's employee's. We didn't even know he was in the progam. So we took a picture of him for his mom and dad back home and he got us the most fabulous spot to watch illuminations that night. (For the record, that meal was the most disappointing of our entire trip.) But it was a cool experience.:goodvibes

What is Illuminations Rocks?

I enjoy the Canada pavillion.

I only wish they would sell the Cheddar Cheese soup out on the walkway instead of just in the restaurant.

DH and I really like the Canada pavilion. I agree with you on all points but Off Kilter.

I loved the Canadian showcase. We climbed up the stairs and found a quiet place with no one around...during Spring Break!!! We spent quite some time just sitting on a bench, looking at the waterfall and enjoying the beautiful weather and the lack of what seems like a hundred thousand crazed fellow park-goers...

I love the Canada pavilion just as much as I love Canada.
Love the movie, enjoy Off Kilter, relive my honeymoon by walking around the hotel back end.
I like Le Cellier--I remember when it was a buffet cafeteria style restaurant in the mid 80s.

When we lived in Montana, we took a road trip to Vancouver Island and Victoria. We visited the Buchart Gardens. So when we go to WDW and visit "Canada" we love to go to the Victoria Gardens to remind us of our wonderful trip to Victoria. And I love the film, even though I get motion sick watching the 360 video.

I love Off Kilter! Definitely my favorite band at Epcot. The waterfall area is very nice too. I do think they need another attraction besides the Martin Short thing.

Canada is my favorite WS country. We watch the movie TWICE every trip because we enjoy it so much (Martin Short is a hoot and the mountains are beautiful!) The shop has fun stuff to look at and the grounds are beautiful. I also love LeCellier.

Yes,there was a shop called La Boutique Des Provinces that sold a variety of items with Anne of Green Gables theme, plus decoupage, pewter, and other items crafted by Canadian artists.:)

The Hotel area hasn't been the same since they closed it.:)
