We are planning to go 4/19-4/27!!! From what I have found looking at the historical discounts for Disney over the last two years, the free dining promotion ended 2 Saturdays before Easter, and then the room only discount picked up 2 Saturdays after Easter. So we are HOPING that is the case again this year. Looks like the free dining discount for Jan thru March 2012 was released in early August last year and the Room only discount for the spring was released late Nov.

same week & resort for us although not booked yet. Once I hear of someone getting a PIN code for 2013, I am going to start hard core campaigning for one online, lol. If not, I expect we'll get some sort of room discount. I don't think there's usually Free Dining in April........

Looks like they aren't gonna offer any deals for AoA until the fascination wears off, or they have all the rooms ready, so there are some vacancies.

I don't think FD is unheard of. I looked up past discounts, and it looks like it was offered here and there in the past. You never know!

With a bunch of kids and a mod stay we'd also prefer a room only discount. I'd love to see thenm yank the 4/3 discount out of mothballs (we used it 2 years in a row!), but I'm not optimistic.

If we can't get at least 20% for POR we're probably gonna do something with the Dolphin and either my SPG discount or DW's nurse discount.

Yes, the nurse's discount is for only Swan/Dolphin. They also have AAA, Teachers, and some other deals and their site.

Up in the air on hotels as well. Thinking about Saratoga Springs, BLT or Animation.

The rack rate for POR is $4611 (standard room) for 3 rooms right now. Gonna use the AAA rate to book, which is 10% ($4150) to start with. If I can get a 20% - 30% deal before we leave, I'll use some of that savings to go preferred.

Edit: Booked prefferred for $4722 ($5247 rack) room only through AAA (10%). Hoping for a 20 - 30% offer later on.

Haven't been to Disney in a few years, so I am a bit out of the loop, but we are planning on going April 1-7, 2013 and would love a pin code or free dining. Can anyone point me to a thread or place where the "tricks" of getting them to send you a pin code are outlined? I am afraid that since we haven't been since 2009 we've likely fallen off the list.

Called to see if I could add AAA discount to a room only reservation at LM room at AoA 4/17-4/27/13. They told me no AAA discount available for LM, only suites.

I just called again, talked to someone different and he told me the same thing. The system won't allow him to use the AAA discount on a LM room. He said they may have decided to exclude them right now. I'll call every week if I have too.

I glad that you were able to get the discount.

well I believe they only have a certain # of rooms for every discount, so the rooms available for the AAA discount may have already been all booked up.
