You inspired me to post a photo. I love all the photo's from your threads. I might post some of our previous trips, but I am a bit paranoid of posting photos of my youngest. I know, I know, I watch too many crime shows. haha

I'm going to review what we've got done and post later.

Okay, so after review I figured I would post the ADR's we are going to TRY to get. So, here goes...

Saturday- Chef Mickeys breakfast, hopefully bright and early
Saturday we have the dessert party
Sunday - dinner at Tonys
Tuesday - Cinderallas royal table, although i don't know if we will do breakfast or lunch.


We may do a dinner show as well. But the rest of our meals we will most likely make in the villa. And, we will most likely have a couple meals at the crossroads area. Olive Garden, IHOP, oh, and chix-filet closer to walmart.


Also, we are hoping to take the little one to Bippidy Boppidy boutique, hopefully the same day as we do Cinderellas Royal Table.

And perhaps Mickeys very merry Christmas Party.

Of course to get these ressies I have to get up early on SUNDAY....MAY 13TH...M-O-T-H-E-R-S D-A-Y!!! ahh... the price to pay. Maybe I will get wonderful ADR's as my mothers day gift!

I had to about your comment for the photo. (the one that said how I inspired that....). I post lots of photos because otherwise I would have a totally boring and dead PTR so it at least gives us something to look at!

Your ADR's look great! I do hope you get a great Mother's Day gift by getting all of your ADRs!

Hey Just realized our Disney vacation starts in 200 days!!!!! It seems so far away, but I remember when I was waiting for the 11mnth mark to make the reservations.
I have been perusing the creative disign website to see what other special surprises I can offer our guests (and us). I am so amazed at how creative those people are. amazing!

I don't think the lack of followers really has anything to do with the pictures. I think quite often here at the DIS if you aren't one of those who is already really well known or one of those who follows and comments on every other PTR then most people won't take the time to read yours. Also, people look for drama (think soaps and reality TV) and both of our lives have VERY little of that so I think we are in good company.

Yep, I am very happy my life is low on the drama gauge.
I do have a photobucket account, plus I order all my prints on line, so I guess I really am foolish to worry about posting photos on the DIS. hahaha
Seriously, I probably watch too many crime shows. No info AND photos! Like they couldn't get all my info by googling my name anyway.

I have canceled the airport chapel and rescheduled our priest for the Thursday before we leave. I am a bit sad, as odd as that may sound. I find airports exciting, full of anticipation. Yet this chapel was so simple and bare. I thought it was the perfect place to have the excitement surrounding us, yet for the vows themselves the focus would be on the words, not the environment. But, it was not meant to be. Our priest was a good sport about it, and simply said he is open on the Thursday and for me to verify where I need to and get back to him. He is a doll. DD was thrilled when I told her I canceled the airport, she thought it was droll to have it there. Which in my head only reinforces my thoughts. I want the focus to be on the vows, not the surroundings. I know it will all work out.

Now, regarding the plans for our vacation. Jetblue is showing prices going down on the dates around when we leave/return, but our dates are still up there. I am hoping they come down a bit before I bite the bullet for the remaining 9 flights.
I have been playiing around with making some DIY stuff. ME... that is I have found clipart on line & have attemtpted to put it on items with saying I think are cute. It is a VERY slow process for me. So, wish me luck!

I've been working on DIY stuff using a lot of the designs from Rustmanfan, or absolutmandy, some I created myself using clipart I found online.

Rustmanfan did a beautiful monogram for me, I painted on towels and it lost some of it's beauty, but she did a wonderful job. I feel bad I messed it up painting it, but I think for the most part it is still nice.

So, here goes....more pictures.

the sheet luggage tags are from mouseforless, mickey head one is from absolutmandy,and the sports ones are from Rustmanfan

sorry it's so big, I can't remember how I decreased the size in the other one.
but... the bookmarks are all from Rustmanfan, I only printed & laminated
I created the door hangers using images from clipart online. I still have to laminate some.

The monogram towels I painted and in doing so messed up the monogram Rustmanfan had created so beautifully. I still like the way they came out, but the original monogram was perfect. I had planned on trying to hand stitch the monogram, but I wasn't able to , so I settled for painting.

I must say I truly appreciated the help of my family creating all this stuff. It really was a labor of love, and I hope everyone that receives them enjoys them, even if for only a short time if they fall apart.

I would like to do autograph books and journals also, but I am unable to do it alone, and I think the hubby is getting a bit frustrated helping me. so, we'll have to wait and see.

So, quick update:

We canceled the Our Lady of the Airways chapel at the airport.
And have now confirmed the church and the priest from 30 years ago. We will be doing it in the downstairs chapel of the church we were originally married in. The upstairs main church is absolutely beautiful, but much too formal for what we were looking for. the downstairs chapel has been redone recently and will certainly serve the purpose.

Although, I am a bit disappointed in not having it in the airport chapel, I must admit I am very happy it is settled. The time frame should work easily for everyone. And, honestly, there is something romantic in renewing in our home chapel.

Now, we will have to redo the invitations (which will probably only be for our immediate family). And decide when the time comes closer what we would like to do for dinner.

1 week from today our ADR's will be done. I am so excited. I am very curious as to which ones we will be able to get and which we will have to wait for another trip.

Our friends that are coming with us, told me today that she would like to treat for myself, my dh & dd for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, as an anniversary gift to us. I love her for the offer, but since it is her & her dh 14th anniversary I will insist we go "dutch". That is if it is wheelchair accessible. I am awaiting a response to that question.

Well, I got up at 5:15am on Mothers Day to try to attain the precious ADR's for our upcoming trip. Just waiting until 6am.

First I will try for Cinderellas Royal Table, if I can't get that I will go for Crystal Palace before park opening.

We got them!!!

the only one we had an issue with is bibbidi bobbidi boutique. Because we have 2 seperate reservations (split stay) due to 1/2 our party leaving & us not wanting a GV for just the 3 of us, we couldn't book the BBB this far out. I have to call back in 3 days.

So, this is how it looks:

first full day Nov. 10 all eleven of us will be at Chef Mickeys at 7am
the 11th 7 of us will dine at Tonys
the 13th 3 of us will have breakfast at Crystal Palace
the 15th 3 of us will enjoy Le Cellier
the 16th 3 of us will feast at Cinderella's Royal Table (hope to get the BBB for this morning.)

Also we are hopin to get Spirit of Aloha reservations, but I need to check with the other couple to see which show they wanted to go to. and I refuse to call tehm this early. Plus, we can make that through our event planner. So, I have emailed her to request the day, then I will re email after speaking with our friends and get which time is best.

So, thanks to any finger crossing disboard friends!

SCORE! I got a ressie at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Nov the morning of the same day we have lunch ressies at Cinderellas Royal Table. Speaking of.... I am considering TRYING to change from lunch to dinner for Cindy's ressie. Glancing over the menu on line I don't see beef or chicken offered for lunch. At least for dinner they have beef dish. hmmm. what to do, what to do.
When I told DH I got the ressies this morning he was sooo happy. I didn't think he was that thrilled with the idea. I guess he came around to realize how happy SHE is going to be.

more updates later. Will we get our Spirit of Aloha reservation??? Still awaiting confirmation from our event planner.

Well, as you may or may not remember (if you have a memory like me it would be the later.), our 1st choice for resorts for the 2nd part of our trip was the Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary Resort. However due to being DVC members at SSR we had to wait until 7 months prior to our trip to try that reservation. ("home" resort, for us SSR you can reserve up to 11mnths out). When we tried we were unable to book the BLT (or 1st choice for beginning of our trip Boardwalk Villas). So, I have been checking on line almost every day hoping someone canceled their ressie for BLT & we can get in. Well... today some of the days opened up. I had to act quick, so I made a call to DH at work & he said go for it! We now have very strange split stay ressies that go like this...

Nov9-12 SSR GV and studio (DDBF)
Nov.12-15 BLT 2bdrm theme park view
Nov. 15-17 SSR 2 bdrm.

We are on the waitlist for the BWV GV & studio. I will also keep checking to see if the BLT 2bdrm or 1bdrm open up. Lake or theme park view. I am soooo happy. Looks like we may get to go to Top of the World for on our actual anniversary! YAY!!!

DD and I are planning on going dress shopping tomorrow. I don't plan on getting one yet, but looking with her will be fun. Maybe a little lunch too.
