Tervis cups and chamilia

Are these available only on the new ships or trips out of FL? I was just on the Wonder and there where none anywhere. I checked every day. :confused3

I bought two of the Disney Cruise Line versions on the Wonder in April (we were on the April 8th MR cruise). They had plenty of them on that cruise.

I love these cups. I can't wait to get the Castaway Cay and Aquaduck ones next year on the Fantasy (they didn't have those on the Wonder).

So excited to see DCL sells Tervis. I love these cups and it will for sure be one of my first purchases on board. Thanks for the info!

Maybe this has been posted, but did they come with lids? Or could you buy a lid? Or should I pack lids?

okay, i'm definitely going to have to buy one just to see what there all about. i see them at bed and bath and wonder what could be so special that someone would pay that much for a plastic cup but you guys have me thinking i NEED one. lol. yup, i'm getting one for sure.
thanks for helping me spend MORE money. :rotfl:

Be careful. I think they are addictive. I received 2 for Christmas one year from 2 different friends. I received both a week or so before Christmas and ended up buying myself another and some as gifts before Christmas arrived and have added to our collection since then.....

Awesome! Thanks. Just wanted to check to see if I needed to add lids to our packing list. Glad we don't! :)

The lids are travel lids like you would find on a travel coffee mug.

We take clear 24 ounce tumblers with straw lids, straws and removable handles.

I would make sure you take a sharpie and put your initials on the bottom of them if you plan to use them onboard. These are the type of items that could easily walk away. Just a thought.

I went to the website it looks like you can customize them. I might have to get one with a pic of our Family from the cruise.

Fun idea! I saw you can add up to three lines of print so I'm going to have our names, ship name and year put on there. Instant souvenir - AND it may prevent the 17 glasses a day being used once we get home! :rotfl2:

I have an easy answer to that.... Come to NZ after the cruise... We dont have tervis tumblers here! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Buying them does become addictive! We have several...mostly for our college team. I did by a set for myself and a friend for a fun weekend away. Guess I just need to clear out a cabinet and start buying them.

I know that we wil be getting some of the cute Disney ones at Bed Bath and Beyond...you can use the 20% off coupon for them.

Oh, and this keeps me from having to pack ours to take onboard!!!!

Question about the Tervis mugs does anyone know how many ounces they hold? Will they fit at the beverage station or do you need to pour into an offical Disney cup first?

i had thought it was frowned on to use anything other than the paper cups they provide at the drink station. i could be wrong and someone may correct me.

You can use a larger cup, DCL just requests you use their paper cups to fill your cup. (and to the above poster, Tervis cups are 16 and 24 oz)

I've read in one of these posts how many ozs, but I don't remember....You would not use them at the beverage station though no matter the size because you should always use a clean cup at the beverage station......so you would use the official cup and then dump it into your cup.

We take 24 ounce tumblers and they fit under the dispensers on the Dream and at Castaway Cay with no problem.

The 16 oz they sell on the ship fit at the beverage dispensers with alot of room to spare. I saw numerous people doing that. I mostly used mine for my room service coffee. I took it out on the verandah every morning.

As a side note, on the Magic last week the beverage area always smelled like a stinky zoo. I tried to avoid the area as much as possible. I went there to fill up with ice for water and that was it.
