Sorry for not being around much lately!! Great Epcot Update . Soarin' is my favorite ride!! Never had breakfast at SS but love their lunches and the desserts !!!!
By the way I am definately going to Universal this year most likely in September but possibly May !!!!!!!

GREAT shot!!! MNSSHP never really struck my interest, as we aren't big Halloween fans, but doing some more in-depth research this past Fall has made me really want to go sometime! The parade and the fireworks look simply awesome.

I'm not big on Halloween, either, but a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a 'whole different animal'! (That's possibly a southern phrase. Not sure, but I think you can figure it out. ) It's fun to see all of the costumes people are wearing, the villains castle show is awesome, and the Boo to You Parade is amazing. I hope you guys do get to go one of these days. It's more a time to go and soak in the atmosphere, see the characters in different costumes, and enjoy all the unique things of the evening rather than to ride anything. We get in 2-3 rides maybe, but mostly we are there for all of the special parties, shows, and parades of the evening.

You have been an updating machine! Isn't MNSSHP so cool? We didn't go year before last just to take a break, and then we didn't go last year, since Jill wasn't with us. We're very ready to go again on this coming October trip.

Love those Epcot pictures. I need that mariachi band to come to my school this week for our Mexico activities. All of the goodies in Norway are tempting. I have had some of them, but I need to keep trying new ones.

Yes MNSSHP is cool!! We had a great time & it was all new to us so that made it even better. Yeah we would not do it every year but would love to do it again in a few years. that you get to go again this year!!

Thanks Amy. I think I was posed with that camera at my face for about 10 minutes anticipating the Headless Horseman coming. It was such a great parade.

Hi Rosie. I know how much you love Soarin. It is a great ride. I always think of you & my deputy Karen as she loves it also. I always send her a pic when we are there.

So you are going to Universal?? You should have a great time. It is a lot of fun there. Let me know when you find out exactly when you are going.

Brook I am not a big Halloween fan either but Disney knows how to do it to make it special. I am also not a big parade fan but I am a big fan of the Boo to You parade. It is a LONG parade & just awesome. Henry would LOVE it & the trick or treating..oh my he would have a ball!!

Yes MeMom it is a whole different animal. Even us Northerners know what that means. You are right. Seeing all the different costumes, seeing characters you do not get to see often, just everything about it. Yeah we did not ride a whole lot but everything else is just great.

I know I started reading her dining reports & then found out that Kathy (katmark) & her were best friends & found out through Kathy's TR that Nikki would be there at that time. It was a fun meet.

Hi Erika!! I know I took a LONG break from updating. It was really tough on me going back to work after the illness. I am just now feeling sorta normal.

We loved the Halloween party (can you tell)?? It was a chore to get Jeff to dress up at all but a pirate was ok. I couldn't get him to carry the cheap plastic sword I bought though.

You do need to attend the F&W sometime. I had been wanting to for years & we finally did it. Of course now I want to do it EVERY year but that will not happen. Not this year anyway. We have a big trip for Cody's graduation trip in April & with him starting college the funds will need to be directed that way but my husband is already saying he wants to go in Oct. next year so we may make a week out of it next year.

It was such a fun night. I want the boys to experience it some day.

It was a LONG Monday this week. UGH!! The end of month & beg. of the month are always busy in our office as we process auto registrations. And of course LOTS of people wait until the end of the month to register. Today has been a doosie (sp)?? so far!!

Ok I left off where we had just watched the wonderful Boo to You parade.

then we crossed over to head to Tomorrowland & I took some castle shots

Then we headed to Mikes Laugh Floor

Always a good time there. We decided we were pretty beat so we headed out & I took some shots on the way out of course

It was a GREAT night & we created lots of wonderful memories.

Now where do we head next???.....

We did the party on Thursday night & Friday would be our last full day..or so we thought.....

WOW, we sound like sisters! Between the vehicle office and the appraisers office I have also been at my job 21 years and I agree wholeheartedly!!! I am SO jaded anymore after hearing every lie in the book! It is sad! For a few years I worked for Disney (catalog) part time and I LOVED it when people were HAPPY to hand over their money, and people really enjoyed my work. Hang in there...my trip will be soon after your's...mine is 2 months from today!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all made out ok with all the storms going through.

So today was Friday Oct. 28th. This was our planned last full day as we were scheduled to go home on Saturday. We started the day at DHS

We rode our favorites

We are second row-left

I usually hold onto the bars but I actually let the seat belt keep me down this time (somewhat) Always a lot of fun!!

According to my receipts we stopped at Starring Rolls around 9:55 for some Cafe Mocha, apple turnover, Choc. croissant & danish. No pics

Then after we filled our bellies we headed over to Star Tours and these guys were there

And we found this guy lurking inside

Then we headed over to DH's favorite The Muppets

We then decided to leave DHS & I took some pics as we headed out

Since this was our last day (we thought) we wanted to get AK in so that is where we headed next.

I know we saw the Lion King Show & then I did a little shopping at the Island Mercantile.. then we headed back to the resort for a rest. I was quite tired at this point & my ankles were swelling really bad this trip so we headed to the pool at POR.

Now at this point I had been texting our sons & my oldest Ryan said that they were predicting 5-8 inches of snow for Saturday. NOOO we cannot have snow in Oct. can we??????
