I may swap out our first night for Pop....I was having CL withdrawals Plus DH and I want to sleep in the same bed...that won't happen at Pop

DS always tried to sneak into my bed at Pop. He may have gotten away with it in a queen but definitely not in a full! I love your new split. I'm secretly a bit jealous.

I agree. Dani...I hope your spirits are feeling a lot better, you are loved by all of us, so don't let that sunny spirit hide for too long!

PAS: I think you've finally found the perfect split! I hope you keep it, it sounds magical and wonderful and absoulutely PERFECT!

I hope I don't miss having a hot tub too much at the POLY.....I'm thinking Oct should still be warm enough that it won't be a huge issue! would sure be nice if they would add one though, it is as DELUXE resort afterall!

Aloha fellow Poly friends! My family and I will be returning to the Poly May16... We have breakfast reservations at 8:15 am at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom Park and I was trying to remember what time the buses start running. The park doesnt open until 9am that day, and I was wondering if maybe we should take a cab... Any advice or ideas on making this adr on time? I know the buses make other stops and AK is a longer ride. Thank you in advance!

Checked in at 7 am this morning. Did online checkin, room was ready, and I received my bldg request for Tahiti lagoon view 2nd floor and a perfect view of the castle.

We're staying at the Poly the third week in March.

Just read today that Disney has announced that the resort monorail won't be running most times from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM because of DVC construction at the GF - http://www.wesh.com/themeparks/30594427/detail.html#ixzz1o0kVpEax

The monorail is a huge plus for us and one of the reasons we decided to stay there. I was going to request Fiji since it's close to the Grand Ceremonial Hall, but now I'm wondering if I should try for Tahiti or Rapa Nui since they're closer to TTC.

Walking to TTC would allow for quicker transportation to/from the parks, but at the same time, we're going to be heading to MK in the early morning with the monorail is hopefully operating, and it should be easy enough (probably quicker, too) to take the boat back. As long as they have it running before 11:30 AM and after 6:00 PM, my dining reservations shouldn't be severely affected transportation-wise.

I can't answer your question about the buses as we always have a car onsite, but did want to say we arrive at Poly the day after you on the 17th!

Buses start running an hour before the park opens. However, if you have the early morning bfast... talk to the concierge desk as they run the early bus for dining reservations only.
