Thanks! My boss is being a real witch today. I should have taken off. Next year I plan on being in Disney for my birthday because my DS is 3 days after me and my DD is 6 days after him!

I think turning 34 at the Poly sounds lovely. You're going to love your trip!

You need a Lapu Lapu!

Sorry you're having a crappy birthday. Maybe you should start planning that birthday trip for next year....

Maybe someone will come on here & post pics to make your day....:thumbsup2

:rotfl2:

Perfect! This sounds amazing! We had a wonderful split stay last year and the moving really isn't that bad at all! In fact, Disney makes it soo easy! We dropped our stuff off at bell services, went to DTD, and took the bus home to the second resort! Just curious, Where are you staying first?

Just wondering, how did your stuff get to your second resort? I'm wondering because we may spend our arrival night at the POLY ( since I can't find availability for our whole stay) .....bit then we need to check into BWI the next day, I was thinking we'd need a taxi to transport all our stuff over ?

Luggage services will come collect your bags and transfer them for you. When you get to your new room you call and they bring them up.

Sorry your birthday is going kind of crappy. Hopefully you can turn it around.
No fresh pics, but this always cheers me up:

(I don't think guitarob would mind me posting this link since it was in one of the older threads)

Happy Birthday, and definitely start that Poly birthday planning! :flower3:

Thanks! I will definitely be having a better night. Dinner won't be at 'Ohana but Outback never disappoints! For now I'm Disney dreaming. :cloud9:

after multiple Lapu Lapu's are you sure it wasn't skinny dipping?! :rotfl2:

THANKS TO THE TIKI GODS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Wow - I never imagined drinking and swimming with my loud drunk sister-in-law could have been worse....this would have brought it there! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

HOLY CRAP!!!!! We are going for our first trip in June and this photo shocked me!!! For the past six years we have been going in Nov/Dec (last year October) and we have never seen the pool this full!! Is this what the quiet pool will look like every day????

I am starting to panic!

Okay...caught up stink bomb in the pool....relaxing a little more.

I'm having a really crappy birthday at work and could really use some Poly magic right now. :sad1:

So sorry....sending you a mental Lapu Lapu your way for your birthday. After I cried on my 39th bday at work I swore to never work another bday for awhile. I took my 40th off and hung out at home (rainy day) but at least I spent it with the kids and not at work.

:bday:party::drinking1

Hello Poly lovers! I started my trip report on my blog. I didn't get too far but it will eventually have lots of Poly pics! I would post it here but I hate uploading pics to photobucket. :rolleyes1

Have so much fun!!!

If you drink alcohol, go to the Tambu Lounge and get an Island Sunset (you can get it to go). This won't pack as much of a punch as a Lapu Lapu or Backscratcher BUT they sure are enjoyable as you shop and walk around GCH :thumbsup2

Just got back and had the most fabulous drink at tHe pool.... southern Sunrise.

I checked it out! Great start! :thumbsup2. Can't wait to read more. :goodvibes

Love all your pics so far!! You are doing a great job, I am not a techie either so I feel your pain!! We have three girls too and on our last trip we stayed in the room right across the hall from you!! Excellent location wasn't it!! Can't wait to read more...thanks for sharing:)

Well my birthday greatly improved when I spoke to my new boss and found out I can get TA rates on my August trip and save $1100! :scared1: I can totally swing all 12 nights at the Poly now!

Less than a week until our very first trip to the Polynesian! Thanks to everyone for the great tips - I am hoping that our requests will come through and that watching the fireworks from the beach is as magical as everyone says it will be!!

And what did that consist of??? I don't usually drink hard alcohol...(I'm a beer/wine gal) but those drinks at the Poly look yummy!!

It tastes like a peach frozen drink with grenadine floating on top. I know it has southern comfort in it. I couldn't taste the liquor at all.

Fireworks on the beack was one of my favorites. Have a great time!
