I've seen so many pictures of pretty wedding hairstyles that I like, so it's been really hard for me to decide how I want to wear my hair on my wedding day. I'm terrible at styling hair, so thankfully Beaute Speciale will be doing it for me.

As much as I'd like to wear my hair up (especially with the FL heat), I don't like the way it looks on me. I also thought about doing a Rapunzel-style braid swept to the side, but I don't think it would look very good with my dress and accessories. So...I've decided to wear my hair down in loose curls, with it pulled back a little on the left side with a hair comb. The only problem is that my hair comb is a lot heavier than I thought it was going to be, so I'm hoping they can secure it enough to make it work. I'm also going to wear a veil, but I haven't decided which one yet. I finally have it narrowed down to two.

The florida heat on hair is an issue for down do's. My hair is too spazzy to trust with those elements but I've certainly see girls pull it off! The nice thing if you consider a loose side pony is that the back of your neck won't get as sweaty since it will be pulled. It will also control it a bit more with product so it should be a longer lasting look. Something like This for for a tighter look, maybe this one

I was worried about the heat with wearing my hair down, but I can't talk myself into wearing it up or pulled back. The good thing is that we're only going to be outside for a little while after our 10 am ceremony. I love the loose side pony--my bridesmaids and Jr. bridesmaids are going to wear their hair in a curly, loose side ponytail. I will have to post a pic!

I live in Orlando so my hair is frizzy all the time, especially during the summer and my wedding was in June! But I had my hair half up/half down and Jackie from Beaute Speciale did magical things because my hair wasn't frizzy at all!

Our wedding is 75 days from today!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, we still have a lot of things to get done before the wedding :

Decide on/order a veil
Help plan our wedding shower
Make dress steaming appointment
Order napkins for the reception
Order programs for the ceremony
Get a bustle sewn into my dress
Order "Mrs. _______" and name hangers for me and my bridesmaids/Jr. bridesmaids
Get a gift for the best man
Finish picking out ceremony music
Finish picking out reception music
Get marriage license
Have BEO updated with changes
Have floral BEO updated with changes

On the bright side, I have managed to get A LOT of things done in the last few weeks.

Thank you!! Great minds think alike! I wasn't going to wear a veil at first, but I changed my mind after trying some on. I have seen some really pretty veils on Etsy. I'm sure you will find one that you love! The two that I am trying to decide between are both from Bel Aire Bridal. They have some beautiful veils, and I like that I can get mine in diamond white since that's the color of my dress.

I'm planning on doing a half up-do myself... I LOVE you hair inspiration pics.. gorgeous! The loose curls are so beautiful.. I want layers of curls for myself!
I always wear my hair in a side braid & love it (but my hair is super thick & long so it's more for convenience, but I always get comments on it!) I think it'd be good for a wedding for the side pony tails for your bridesmaids =) Definitely a plus for the weather.. I'm sure Beaute Special will do a wonderful job!

You are definitely farther along in planning than me.. Makes me feel super behind!
