We had 5! I couldn't believe it. On the main road, there were kids everywhere but not on the side streets. There was a freak snow storm here on Saturday & a lot of trees & power lines were down so I think that kept them off the side streets. The 5 kids that did show up, I just held out the bowl of candy to them & let them take as much as they want. We have a ton left!

It was odd here too. Normally we get at least 200 kids... and this year I would say maybe 100. And it was a slow stream...not like usual where my door it almost open continuously from 6p to 8pm. I wonder if it was that it was a monday?? The weather here actually wasn't too bad...so
But, just like you...lots of older kids and few younger ones....

I felt like a scrooge, I didn't want to give candy to the kids that were too old to be out (and cause it was so late!)

We got crazy snow, too. A lot of towns nearby are still without power.
Our too-old, too-late ToTers cleaned us out of candy. Which made me mad, cause I could really go for a Reese's right now!

12 days till we can book our trip!
It's getting close to being real!

All of a sudden, I've got a bajillion things going on. I'm matron of honor in my best friend's wedding, and that means a lot of busy weekends! The wedding is March 17, and I spent today starting to track down the other girls so we can plan the shower and bachelorette party.
We all know how quickly time goes by around the holidays and it looks as though the shower will be end of January at my house. Add in the week in February that Ben and I will be spending in Puerto Rico, and it's practically time for the wedding!

In Disney news... a good friend of mine just bought a DVC membership. Mark used to be my WDW travel buddy and we always had a blast.

We were just little babies!

That trip was in 2006. Now that he has a DVC membership, he obviously wants to make a trip. So he asked if I'd wanna go. Um, duh. Ben doesn't have enough vacation time to go but kindly gave the OK for me. I promised him I wouldn't have too much fun.

The trip isn't actually booked yet, but I think he was going to do it sometime over the next week. You betta believe I will share the details!

Yay, so glad you might get to go on another trip! Now that I have AP's, I'm seriously trying to figure out a way to squeeze in as many trips as possible, I'm even considering a solo trip next summer!

I'm joining in, too!! I saw that you were going in Oct. 2012, and that's when my DH and I are going too! We are going the 14-21st! So you guys will be there a day ahead of us! lol Also..my DH's name is Ben too!!! I thought that was cool! haha

I am right there with you being so excited for DW!! This is only my second time going, but I'm already HOOKED! I can't wait to start planning my next trip after this one! haha

I know it! Time drags sooo slowly sometimes I don't think I'll make it! haha But in the grand scheme of things, this year has absolutely FLOWN by!! Hopefully the other 11 months will too! At least we are getting into the holiday season, and that seems to go by pretty fast!

I feel like I was just complaining about how early Halloween candy was being sold, and now we're almost a week past it already!

Between the holidays, my friend's wedding, and a few upcoming trips, I think time is going to go pretty quick for me!

No other real news on the trip-front. Mark hasn't booked the May trip yet, but I think we'll be staying at Old Key West. Ben and I stayed there one night on our last trip, and I really liked it- I'm looking forward to returning there!

By the way, your PTR title is something I should have used for mine. the "wishing a year away" Yes, that is what I did... and I am not quite sure how...but my wish certainly came true. Course... maybe I do know how the year has flown by... been a pretty hectic year. Ah... we will just go with my wish being fulfilled.

I know what you mean! I can't believe it's already a week after Halloween! And true to form, Christmas music started playing at Walmart on Nov. 1st!

I have a lot to do for the rest of the year as well! (Which is fine with me!) I have two weddings, one trip, and the holidays (and baking for the holidays) to keep me busy!
