MMM Via Napoli looks like a must try!

Brrrr Sorry you are getting so much snow. Nice you could stay in all cozy and write an update! We're supposed to get a dusting next week, that's normal for here. Yay for the football game - sounds like Timmy's team won!

Via Napoli is really good- I keep flip flopping about stopping there for luch on our last day on THIS upcoming trip, but I think I finally have decided to skip it, because our plane leaves at 5:30 which means DME will be earlier (than usual) for us at 2:30- I think my boys would rather go on a few rides in those last hours than eat pizza!

And yea- Tyler's team won- and I would have written TONS of updates, that was plan...but we lost power Saturday at 1:30 and didn't get it back until Monday at 10- Joan just got hers back on Tuesday! And our town was not NEARLY as affected as the towns north of here- schools in New Providence, Mountainside, Berkeley Hts- just the NEXT towns- are still closed today and people still don't have power. It's a war zone- trees uprooted, huge branches down- I nearly got into an accident just picking Tyler up at the High School (5 minutes away) because it was soooo icy and bad, and I was literally crawling in the car I was driving so cautiously. What a mess!!

What a nice trip that all of you had. I would have been crying myself saying those goodbyes! My DH doesn't understand all of this Dis stuff either which makes it hard for me to do a trip with a group of girls!

this is what makes the trip so special (well, one of MANY things)- that we all DO get the DIS stuff!! Nice to be surrounded and submerged in that!

So did you make a run to the store for milk & bread? For the life of me I can't figure out what is done with all that bread & milk during a snow storm! Vodka & rum, YES!

I was actually going to do regular shopping for the weekend on Friday, and when I got to the supermarket it was so crowded you would have thought the next day was Christmas!! I remarked to someone how i couldn't find a parking space, and they told me there was going to be a big snowstorm. HUH?????So yea, I did get milk and bread, but that was on the list already.

Thank goodness it wasn't OH getting the snow for once! Hope you didn't lose power!

Then why no run on cereal!? I don't usually have that much cereal in the house! Besides, I just use the gas grill, it will cook just like the gas stove.

FWIW, I was able to cook dinner both nights because we have a gas stove- I just did it by candlelight. Saturday night I made tilapia with tomatoes and green olives that was insanely good, Sunday I made a chicken jambalaya kind of thing- Pods says I cook better without electricity. But I think that's just because I was not following any recipes, I was just cooking from my heart. Awww....

That is lefse....and it is heaven when it is fresh off the iron and made by your grandmother. Excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my mouth...LOL THe school bread was really dry. Was this the day that we thought the Vikings had attacked the Bathroom??

I know that rita I had was really sweet and that is saying something coming from me. I don't have any photos from that part of the day. I'm glad to see that my mascara had fully worn off by this point.

From what I can recall we slowly dragged ourselves out of Epcot and on to DHS to get some cupcakes and try for Star Tours. At this point it was something like 12:30 or so. My flight was at 5:40 and I think the rest left at like 6:30. Just keep that in mind....LOL

I would love to do an all girls trip someday. That room at BWV was awesome and that balcony I would love to stay there someday, my SIL/BIL stayed there on their Honeymoon and it is my Brother's fave resort as well (the reg BWI).

We had two more things to do before we went over to the dreaded DME....we REALLY wanted to try Star Tours and see if we could hit it right, and we (well, I) HAD to bring home cupcakes from Starring Rolls for my boys. We boarded a Friendship boat, and off we went to DHS, stopping at BWV where Lonnie left us to drive home. i HATE it when we lose one!-

We still had (Joan, Evie and I) more than an hour before our DME...and we high-tailed it to ST...and were THRILLED to see....it was open!!!

The standby time looked to be about 15 minutes, so we figured we were safe. The last pic I was allowed to take-

Well, we were THRILLED to have experienced this BRAND NEW adventure, it was EXCELLENT and I can't WAIT to go again! When we got out of the ride, the parade was going by....so we were kind of blocked off. And we had to go the loooooong way around to the front of the park. Uh-oh. We peeked into Starring Rolls, and with no line were able to score some fast cupcakes, left the park, and went to the boat....didn't have to wait too long, although it felt like FOREVER and got off at the Swalphin....high tailed it back to BWV...

Grabbed our carry-ons quickly....and found out we had.....

misssed the DME by a matter of minutes. Of all days for that bus to be early or even on time!! It's always late for me! But NOT today.....

Sooo....no biggie...we just took a cab-

Although Laura was freakin out a bit, being that her flight was an hour earlier than ours....but it was all fine in the end. She got out at her terminal first, we said more teary goodbyes, I REALLY hate when we lose one!!! and then...there were three. Joanie, Evie and me.

We were at the gate in NO TIME as usual, with TOO MUCH time to spare, and decided we should have something to eat AGAIN!! Well, it was 5:00, I think! So we sat down at Ruby Tuesday's and ordered-

I felt so healthy after eating that! Joan & Evie got burgers-

We actually had a REALLY great last meal here, partially due to the server- he was a former CM, he was Prince somebody....and at Universal, he was Beetlejuice. He kept us VERY entertained- almost made going home FUN!

And then...that was it. Until a little less than 6 months from now- when Joan, Kara, Lonnie, Cammie & I meet at WDW before all but Lonnie head out on our DREAM cruise.

I hope you had fun reading about all of OUR fun, and now...I've got to run!! I'm headed to Disney in 24 hours!!!
