Greetings from the Boardwalk Inn's Garden Suites!
After driving 1,063 miles we took a spin on one of Buzz Lightyear's XP-40 vehicles (there was some trouble in Sector 9: Zurg again!). Managed "Galactic Hero" status.
All the best.

Shock and Awe....
i just can not take anything more then 10 hrs with stops along the way. I think our trip was a little more them 520 each day.
I am in Awe of the great ones on the board
Enjoy yourself before the shock of winter, let alone Fall in the N.E.
We made our first drive ever to Lost and Found outside the MK; I had lost my sun glasses on Pirates of the Caribbean.
No luck, however.
So, fellow 2,000+ Mile Round Trip Drivers, on your next WDW visit please keep an eye out for a pair of black sunglasses.
Reward: One Mickey Premium Bar!
All the best from Boardwalk's Garden Suites!
if they fell off in the water, you wont see them again. last june, dd and i took the keys to the kingdom tour for the third time. they showed us the retention pool for splash mtn. im sure pirates is along the same lines. there is a huge screen that picks up "stuff" before the water re enters the pumps. chances are slim to none that you would see them again. but, if someone found them and turned them in. dd left our camera on the train one year the last day we were at wdw. i called a few days later and they had it!!!! wdw sent it to me no charge. if nobody claims the stuff, its sold to the employees at a very low price.(so im told)
Oh stink!! We drive our own car but we have roadside assistance and that makes me feel better. DH does some stuff to the car before we go but honestly, I have no idea what I'm a lot of help...Out of curiosity, how many drive your own vehicles? What do you do to prep them for the ride? we are set to leave in just under 3 weeks, and our Helga has failed her pre trip inspection at the mechanics miserably Almost $2,000 worth of work they are saying she needs. She is an older van, but we love her and dont want to get rid of her, but I'm beginning to have restless nights just imagining us all broke down somewhere in the middle of South Carolina. I'm freaking out. Shes had the oil done, a new water pump put in, next up are the rear brakes, ball joints, and whatever is now leaking after we got the new water pump ( I know, its THAT bad, we had no idea ) A rental car really isnt an option since a 12 passenger van is over $1000 (train, bus and plane are similar prices) and I figure we might just as well put that money into our van that needs TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK. oh wait, did I say that already? sigh. My exciting Disney vacation has turned into Disneygeddon and I am dreading it!!
Oh I love that!! The lifetime battery made me lolI saw this, and thought about this thread and my current ramblings. lol
With drizzle in the air, time for a drive from the Boardwalk to DTD and a check of gas prices at Disney Hess.
All the best.
we are expecting 4-6 inches of snow on sat. i dont think the shore areas are expecting anything.
It's horrible. We NEVER get to go out just DH and I. We have a big night planned in AC on Saturday night. I can't believe I have to deal with SNOW!!!!
Could be a Nor'easter!
