2012 Dining Plan Prices and Brochure (BROCHURE REVISED 4/25/12)

Fulton's has not been on the dining plans since 2005 and it is unlikely it will be added for 2012. They generally take only the premium and platinum package plans.

All menu items are covered at Narcoosees. Yes, you can get the lobster.

'Ohana dinner is not and has never been 2 credits. The Spirit of Aloha Luau is 2 credits. Totally different thing.

I was told by a WDW agent booking my Free Dining Pkg for March that the DDP would be valid at all DTD restaurants for 2012 including TRex cafe. Anyone else hear this?

We have two other reports of this. Don't bank on it until you see it happen. We should know for sure by December.

Can the dining plan be used to book a Fantasmic package?

Yes, the F! package is able to be paid with via DDP. The credit count is no different than the restaurant you're booking for.

H&V/MM = 1 TS
Brown Derby = 2 TS

As a note, I'm 99% sure that it's a fixed price menu as well, and that you get the choice of an Appetizer even on the normal DDP. I'm not 100% on that though, as I've never done the F! package myself.

On page 3 of the DDP 2012 pdf, it states that TS includes an appetizer for children ages 3-9 only. Is it possible this is a typo? Thx!

No, it is not a typo. TS on the regular plan includes appetizers for children only, and the children must select from the child's menu. You must get the deluxe plan to have appetizers included for adults at TS lunch and dinner.

I have a few questions myself. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help answer them!

1. We are hoping to exchange into DVC through RCI for next summer. I know DVC members pay just regular (non peak) prices. Will we qualify for that or pay peak prices?

2. Are taxes added to the OOP prices? For example, if CP is $34.99 for the dinner buffet, are taxes added to the $34.99 or does that include tax? (This would make the DDP be a bigger savings than what I'm currently figuring.)

So more likely than not, restaurants like Yak&Yeti and a few other World Showcase restaurants will be added later? Will the dining options pretty much mirror those from 2011? I sure hope so! We tried DDP this year for the first time this year and would be disappointed if the current options stood.

Only one restaurant (Fulton's) has ever dropped out of dining plan participation.

So it's likely they will all be back for 2012.

There are even rumors that there will be additions at Downtown Disney but for now they are just rumors.

Question about the refillable mug: Is it refillable at your resort only or in the parks?

Since most 2 years olds are still nibblers you will generally find the portion sizes large enough to share with your 2 year old. We have never had a problem with not having enough food...it's usually we have too much food! Last trip we even started using only a couple of our quick service credits and sharing meals between the 4 of us. This also allowed us to have "extra" credits to use at breakfast.

Also, at the buffets your 2 year old would be able to eat for free and you can pick anything for him/her at the buffet.

Not to worry...I have never heard of anyone going hungry on the dining plan! :thumbsup2
