Favorite Resort Table Service other than Boma and Chef Mickeys

We find ourselves in need of another ADR for dinner OUTSIDE of the parks that takes DDP. Any favorites at the resorts or DTD?

Our favs are Raglin Road at DT Disney, Kona Cafe at the Poly, Ohana, at the Poly, and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you want a signature, we love Jiko, Narcoosees, and CA Grill.

I have heard great things about The Wave and Kona Cafe, but we haven't been to either yet.

I think it also depends on who is going...kids? adults only? etc.

Ohana is a favorite of others, but not ours. I'm thinking kids would love it. Also, I think the Cape May Clam Bake sounds good if you are seafood fans.

Are you totally sold on Chef Mickey's? We weren't pleased at all (and we are in no way picky or snobbish about restaurants). If you are looking for the "Fab Five," perhaps Cape May Cafe for breakfast would be a better bet. Just an idea. Have fun!

If you want to know where the best food at WDW is, go to the best resort. The Grand Floridian - Narcoossees & Citricos.

Love Goofy's Beach Blast Breakfast at Cape May in BC. It's one of our favorite meals.

Also like Whispering Canyon Cafe for lunch.

GF Cafe is a beautiful spot...very peaceful and relaxing.

Kona Cafe is good.

For dinner; Cape May Cafe, Kouzzina, Sanaa, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and Kona Cafe.

Ohana for food and fun! We also enjoyed Whispering Canyon for the atmosphere. The waiters were hysterical! The food was good, but not spectacular. Although my ds (10) loved the free refills on his vanilla shake!

1 TS dinner? Ohana at the Poly. Cape May buffet at BC/YC. Turf Club at SSR. Olivia's at OKW.

Do you have park plans for the evening? If so, try to pick something that will make the transport easy (Cape May if you want to go back to DHS or Epcot; Ohana or Kona to go back to MK). If you have no plans and if at least some members of your party like Cajun/Creole food, go to Boatwright's at POR and then catch Yee-Haw Bob Jackson's show in the lounge next door. No tickets, no cover charge; you just need to purchase a beverage (which can be a soda pop) to sit at one of the tables in the main room. He is there Wednesday - Sunday nights.

Boatwrights does have a few non-spicy options (I am not a Cajun fan so I had the beef tenderloin medallions with white cheddar pasta shells) but much of the menu is spiced; check it out online and see if it would work for you.

Or if you have young kids and if the weather is good, go to the Trails End buffet at Ft. Wilderness and then to the (free) Chip & Dale campfire marshmallow roast (THOSE you have to buy) and sing-a-long, followed by a free Disney movie shown outdoors. Or eat at the buffet but then take the horse-drawn wagon ride; I think it's $8 per person.

Not a fan of Chef Mickey's and not sure yet about Boma.

Our fave is Ohanas and Kona is a close second! Both at the Polynesian

Whispering Canyon is fun and has great food! It is absolutely one of my families favorite restaurants!

Sanaa at AKL Kidani

Ditto! Was just there on Thursday and it was the best TS of our whole week. A mix of Indian/African and more adventurous than many other TS restaurants. Great curries and naan bread Loved the chai creme and orange ginger cake desserts. Plus, ask for a window table and watch the giraffes and other animals right on the savannah while you dine!

Another 1 TS credit option that we really enjoyed is Grand Floridian Cafe.

Another vote for GFC. The atmosphere is invariably pleasant and generally subdued. I thought the staff there to be the best of all the resort restaurants we've visited (never been to the signature places).
