Thanks for the good vibes. I'm back and resting yes too young for a pacemaker but I was out of it. Hubby and nurse did chest compressions to get me back. If it werent for that episode i would just be one blood pressure meds but yh got really nervous with the heart stoppage. So out of hospital today to rest. El i will call later sorry about before.

I have more to add about that ole and Sven and hottie. McHottie but my iPhone not let m do it.

Love life. It is too short!!!

We are at Disney now and the family will be back soon from their walk so I will have to be quick with my Dismoms fix.

Oh my ortholablady and all my Dismoms friends, you would not believe it, Sarah has been very, very good at doing everything she was told to do with her braces, night brace, bands, etc. She was told to wear the bottom retainer 12 hours a night, but because of a slight separation right after the braces were removed she was told to wear the top retainer as much as possible for the next two weeks and then start wearing it also for 12 hours per night. All went well the first four days. On the fourth day, we are at Hollywood Studios, she drops the retainer during a snack break, one of the cast members grabs it up and says she will go rinse it off. She rinsed it by dropping it into a cup of steaming hot water and now it does not fit. No one is mad at the CM, she did not know what a retainer was and did not realize boiling water would damage it. We will not be home until Sunday so now Sarah is having to go a week without the retainer. We called her orthodontist hoping they could make another and overnight it to us. No luck. We have an appointment 8 am Monday morning. I hope this does not mean she has to go back into braces. She felt so bad when it happened and it was not her fault at all.

She'll probably just have to do full time retainer wear for a while. They may have to make her a spring aligner (a little fancier retainer made for minor movement) if that's not what she was wearing already. I don't think she would have had enough shifting of teeth in a weeks time to need braces again.

Ortholablady, we have an appointment 8 a.m. Monday morning for an evaluation and to have a new impression taken. Your reply has taken away some of the stress. We were warned to keep the retainers away from the dog. Now I know to also keep them away from super hot water. Other than that mishap and our wine order not being delivered, it has been a great vacation. Lots of birthday pixie dust for my spouse and lots of fun for Sarah and I.

Now back to the regularly scheduled DISmoms' report.

Kate, I can't believe how understanding you were about Sarah's retainer!! Good for you! I think most people would have been freaking out- it sounds like it was an honest mistake, though, by someone who really was trying to help. I'm so glad Ortholablady was able to give you some advice and I hope it eased your mind. Please have a great vacation!!

I am so glad you are doing better and IO have to say you sounded MUCH better than you did earlier this week when we spoke on the phone today! PLEASE let all of your friends help you- I am sure they are all clamoring trying to figure out what you need- LET THEM!!!

We grabbed every cute young waittress that we thought would know who we were talking about. But they did not have a clue. We even grabbed a couple cute young waiters that we thought would know (not that there's anything wrong with that!) and they didn't know either.

I was becoming very sad. Because I had not seen Hottie since our first DISmoms trip. Cammie has that pic somwhere......

Yes! dvcforlife has it too I think..... Help!!!!!! We all need a HOttie fix.

Because the Hotness has moved on. He left RR for bigger and better things...... no doubt withOUT DISmoms?
