What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

I'm new to the board, but I read these threads for tips. Everyone is of age to be on the board. Posts can be considered "right or wrong" in each persons opinion. Let everyone make their own decision and continue to post their thoughts. I don't think bashing people's comments is positive for either side and I don't think people want to come here looking for fun helpful things and get into the middle.

I am using the lids from the cups that the kids get at restaurants (those cheap plastic ones, we always take them home) to prevent popsicles from melting everywhere.

Oh my goodness! I have to bring pump soap with me too. I do not like to use the bar soap. I was so excited when I saw this:

What a great idea! I actually have this (and the Mickey)- and I never thought about using it for our room. I'm totally bringing it on our trip! Thank you for tip! :goodvibes

I think we will bring ours and put some anti-bacterial pump soap in it. Maybe if they see enough of them in our cabins, they will bring them on board for everyone! LOL!

Again, you are not allowed to take straws into the Animal Kingdom. And if you really care about the animals you are going to see, you won't either. A few hundred people bringing in their own straws, and a few are bound to get loose. Not good.

Actually, the first visit we made, we were given this recommendation by a CM. She said as long as it was a reuseable straw, it was fine. My autistic little girl can't use paper straws, because there is literally no straw left. she can't use the plastic straws because she chews them until they crack and swallow pieces. Her crazy straws with her Disney Toons on it goes with us everywhere. It's not some little cheap plastic straw, it's a souvenir straw. Losing the straw would be no different than losing a toy we bought at the shops. We have made 6 trips to AK and always come back with our straws.

This is a very good point that I don't believe many people would have thought of.

Where did you find them at Target? In the soap aisle? My Target didn't carry them...hate that!

I found mine in the aisle where the body wash was. Good luck..you can always look at target online!:thumbsup2
Michelle

Target online doesn't have them. However, they did give you the option to check your store location for stock on hand. I was going to go to pick it up today, but did the same thing and ordered on Amazon! Great minds think alike! LOL

My husband likes to bring props for photos ex: on Dinosaur the picture from the ride showed a bunch of people screaming and DH looking very intrigued by the Hidden Mickey book he was reading... and on TOT he's in the photo holding a Mickey doll and a giant lollypop crying! He's kind of a nut.:rotfl2:

That is hilarious!! I need to see those pics now! :rotfl2:

I am packing a plastic waterproof cell phone case! With my luck, I'd drop my phone in the toilet when I go to put my daughter on! It will store my Key Card & Photopass! It will be great by the pool, too!!

I have a ton of address labels that different charities send me...I bring some with me to use on the resort delivery forms and postcards. I also carry them in my wallet to use for disponsable camera developing and anything else that requires my address. A great time saver.

Some really great ideas! I've seen the idea about labels before, I just have to remember to get them out. It's automatic to just fill in the forms.

Why don't husbands get the concept of saving money at sales? Lol!

That's a great idea!! I used them last time for our things in case they get lost, but to fill in forms, etc!! Fabulous! :thumbsup2
