Post Your Cabin # for PCC 4.0 !!!

crazy4stitch - Susan Brown - first time for a podcast cruise - stateroom 9101 :banana: how childish is it that I didn't choose the inside stateroom because of the price but because I wanted the virtual porthole??

Welcome to the fun Susan !!!! It's not childish at all...I wanted an inside room for that reason, but my DD and DGD out voted me on having a varandah this time...oh well.

"Please welcome the Wolfe family from Texas!"

Or it will sound something like that. Scott and Sara here and we are stateroom 2540 - chose not to splurge on a balcony so we could squeeze in a little WDW time prior to the cruise.

This will be #8 for me - #3 for her...first podcast cruise!

I loved being introduced as we entered the ship

Cabin 2538

Me - Paula
DH - Robert
DM - Marian (my Mum)

1st podcast cruise but we are regular DCL cruisers - especially the longer itineraries - EBPC 08, WBTA 10 and fingers crossed for Hawaii 12. We have also done eastern carribean 2003 and a double dip 2006.

We have a 9B as the extra space will be nice but wondering if its worth seeing how much cheaper the inside might be...

I would definitely keep the cat. 9 for 3 people, unless you want a 10 with almost as much space. The cat. 11s are small, and the storage space is lacking - unless you don't mind living out of your suitcases that are under the bed.

I would stick with the 9, esp since you are traveling with 3 adults. Might get away with smaller space if 3rd person was a kid.

The insides arn't that much cheaper and the comfert you buy for a small amount extra for the cat 9 is soooo worth it.

The room is bigger and maybe even more important you have a split bathroom (the toilet seperate from the shower).

Stick with your cat 9!!!

And finaly we get to meet each other!!!

Cabin 2538

Well hello neighbors! We are 2540 - and we would have been 2538 had you not had it! We transferred our reservation from 11/24 to this cruise and we were assigned that cabin on that sailing...

"It's a Small World After All..."

I'd say to keep the 9B as well - insides are actually quoting at a higher rate than the outsides right now - so you would not e saving anything.

Are the insides higher for this particular cruise?
I think my 11C is the lowest rate.

So many of you are on deck two! Why?
Won't any of you join me on deck nine? Closer to the open top deck!

Insides weren't more expensive than oceanviews a few weeks ago when I booked this. I am on deck 2 because 11C costs less than 11B or 11A! If you are on deck 9, you're not in an 11C. All 11Cs are on deck 2.

**According to the group rates, Cat. 11 cabins are still less than Cat. 9: https://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/cruise/podcast-cruise-pricing-4.cfm

I booked on board the Wonder in March, so I am not utilizing group pricing. But the answer given to me at the time of booking was that since the new ships have fewer insides and more outsides (non-verandah) that the outsides have more availability early and thus lower prices. This of course will fluctuate with bookings and the ebb and flow of the sales.

Lots of us on Deck 2 likely because there are deals to be found! :)

And if I have to walk up the stairs to get to the upper decks, then I can work off more food. :) We only take elevators on formal nights or Palo visits when my wife is wearing heels.

I'm at 7104. I asked the cast member on board for the cheapest family room with a murphy bed, which Tracey confirmed is cat 4.

That's what I did on the Dream cruise! I made myself do the stairs unless we were dressed for Palo, just so I could enjoy all the foods without guilt! I actually lost a couple of pounds on board. :lmao:
