It was pretty fun....the kids still talk about it. Addy even remembers falling & how nice Alice & the Mad Hatter were. It's fun getting multiple characters together for a pic too!!!



Today my goal is to get the rest of the snack bags done for the Meet-n-Greet. This ended up being a huge project.....that wasn't my intention in the beginning. We have 35 for sure gals coming & 1 possibly.....so I'm doing up 38 bags....just in case.

I got my picture frame wrapped for the exchange that evening.

The door sign is done.

I need to do up one more nametag for the Meet-n-Greet & I think I'll be done with all the projects I took on.

Tomorrow I'll start the packing. Will try to get all the laundry done one more time before I leave.

Then I have to send notes to school about who to contact while I'm gone, lay out meds for all the kids, lay out clothes (think that will help Nick out) & just make sure I've covered all my bases before I leave.

4 more days & 4 more days of work to get done. I am SOOOOOOO Ready for this trip!!!!!

20 Day Countdown.......Day 3!!!!!!

The entry to DCA......glad I have these photos, since this is all changing!!


I got all the snack bags done yesterday!! I decided to add a few little scrapbooking stickers on to them & have to go pick up one more package of little jewels to add to the crowns. But as for the stenciling.......DONE!

Will start packing the non-clothing items......one suitcase will be just stuff for the girls trip (picture frame, snack bags, name tags, door sign & scavy hunt bling-bling) The second suitcase will be the clothes.....will wait to pack those so they don't get to wrinkled up.

It's blustery here.....yesterday was windy & cold, last night it warmed up & started pouring & windy, woke up to find garbage everywhere (why oh why does it have to be windy on garbage pick up day?). Very rainy & very windy!!!! Looking forward to seeing the sun!!

Thank you very much!!! I'm looking forward to getting away....especially since it's my "Happy Place"!!! Also starting to worry about my kiddos when I'm gone. This will be the longest I've been away from them. We're all set up with Skype so we can video call but I'm not sure that won't make it harder........harder on them or harder on me......lol
