Steph and Tom's PJ!1/3/10-WP/WHR/AAP/ITALY-We won Best Love Story! Thanks for voting.

can't believe I didn't comment, I must have looked at them at work but your pics turned out beautiful. It's a shame you couldn't get more outside but all the ones you did get look great!

Ooh those bacon crusted beef and blue cheese things are amazing, I'm glad your DH got to have some. ;)

Thanks hon. I really really wish I took more outdoor pictures, but it was so friggin cold man. Ken even gave me a pashmina to cover me. I should have been more directive then I was in where I wanted certain shots, I will tell you that. It was so overcast and blah on my wedding day, the sky looked horrible. But what can you do.

OMG-those were sooo good. I ate nothing from the cocktail hour but everyone was raving about the food.

I know it's been a while since I updated but I am still waiting for my high res disc and then will finish my trip report.

On a different note, I am soo excited. We are going to Disney for a long weekend the first weekend of June! Since our annual passes expire at the end of June, we decided we should use them one more time and that we needed a mini-vaca esp. since i have been working like a dog. I am so excited to be back in Disney! We are staying at one of the Port Orleans hotels, which I have never been to but looks nice. DH is also VERY excited since that is the weekend they bring back the Main Street Electrical Parade which is his favorite from his childhood. We will be able to see the first parade shown in the park and MK has EMH that night also :) Hopefully the weather will cooperate more then it did during our wedding and honeymoon.

I should be updating my PJ this weekend since I am suppose to get the disc this week. Disney here I come!!!

Hi!
Really excited for you for the upcoming WDW trip! :woohoo: it can only be about 4 weeks away now!

Not sure if you're staying at POR - but I just read this article today about the resort - it looks beautiful!

Emma princess: x
Thanks Emma. It does look beautiful. We are usually resort snobs and stay at the GF (or deluxe) but since it is a short trip, we figured why spend the extra money right now. Hopefully for our 1 year we will go back and then we will stay at GF. DH and I won't stay at a value and PO looks really nice for a moderate. I am just happy to take a small vaca since work has been so crazy and the long hours are getting to me :) Woo-Hoo disney here we come!!!

can't wait to see pics of the reception AND THE CRAZY BIRDS!!!!!:rotfl2:

loving how great everything turned out - ours is in january and i worry about the weather and am hoping the sky could at least be blue and want to walk back from the WP to the GF. fingers crossed!!

Thanks for reading! I had those crazy a-s-s birds covered. :lmao: It really was so cold on my wedding day and I was so upset it was overcast. I wanted beach pics and outdoor GF pics. Oh well. Hopefully it was an off year and your wedding day weather will be beautiful.

I read about yeeha bob and I will check him out. He looks like he is a lot fun.

Oh - you are going to have such a great time at POR. We love both PO resorts. If you check out Yeehaa Bob at POR - you should also check out Elliott Dyson at POFQ. He plays in the evening at the Scat Cat Club - which is right off the lobby of the POFQ resort. He is there Wednesday to Saturday starting at 9:00 until either 11:00 or midnight.

We always head over to listen to him (even if we are not staying there). He plays different type of music then Bob at a much slower pace - but everyone loves listening to him. Here is a photo of Elliott.

Sambycat - that is so great that you are having Yeehaa Bob at your wedding - he is so much fun.

I will def have to try to check them both out. :thumbsup2

Question-is it a really long walk from the rooms to the lobby/food court/buses? Both hotels seem really big and spread out.

POR is MUCH bigger then POFQ. This is one reason we like POFQ over POR. If you check out their map on allearsnet you might get a good idea of what section to stay in.

When were down for our wedding - almost all 50 of our guests stayed at POFQ. Disney put them all in Building 2. There are only 7 building at POFQ so even if you are in #7 it is not too bad.

A few years ago my parents stayed at POR in the Mansion section and it was quite a walk to the food area. Usually once you are there for a few days you get the lay of the land and there are usually some shortcuts you can take.

Thanks Linda. That map is helpful. I look at it this way, at least we will walk off all the Mickey ice creams and other bad food we don't normally eat. :) The only time I might mind is late at night returning from EMH. Oh another question, is there any where to get snacks or at least soda or water at least 24/7? I saw the arcade at POR is open 24/7 but did not know if they had anything in there... Thank again!

Hey Steph, Hope you are coming back soon to share the rest of your day with us! I cant wait to see your high res photos!

Hey marissa. I plan on coming back soon. I have had no time with work and other stuff that's been going on. It is sweet that you still are interested in my story! Did not think many people were-lol I hope to work on it this week.
