I have a picture of my son (3 at the time) doing a tea party in a princess dress. As a dad, I don't know whether to find this hilarious or humiliating.

Neither. Just save it for the first time he has a girlfriend and he brings her over to meet you and DW. Then proudly display it as a 24"x36" canvas print hanging over the fireplace.
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

and one that I can't figure out for the life of me why our good friends to the south never jumped all over.....the robertson screw (the square head) :confused3

Today I am a Hero, tomorrow who knows.:rotfl2:

I was able to make reservations for breakfast at the hard to get Cinderella's Royal Table for our upcoming August trip. Actually, it may not be as hard to get a ressie as it used to be. Good to have one all the same.
Anyway, just an FYI:
When you get to the 180 day window before you arrive, you can make all ADR's for your trip to Disney, you can book ten days beyond the arrival date.

And I got this from another Dis Dad here on our board... If you make the res. online, you can do it starting at 6AM eastern time.:thumbsup2

Otherwise it's 7 AM by phone.

Nice. What time did you get for breakfast? Before the park opens? I've always wanted to get an 8:00am ressie for something just so we could walk down an empty Main Street. But there is usually at least 6 of us (DWs parents have always joined us) so ressie times are hard to come by at CRT.

Yes, I did go for an early res., our reservation is for 8:10AM.

We will make sure we get there early enough to enjoy the emptiness of Main Street and hopefully get a picture with just us on the street.

The first time we had an ADR for CRT our girls were 16 mo and almost 3. We were staying at WL and planned on taking the boat to the Kingdom. Well, we had to wait and wait and wait at the dock for the boat to come(over :45min.). By the time we got to MK and found a CM to let us in early, We had to RUN:scared1: down Main Street to get to the castle to meet Cinderella. Talk about irony.:lmao: I have never been so winded before breakfast. For sure I thought we were going to be out $140. or whatever the cost was at the time for the meal.

You can not be to early for a character breakfast.

Wow what a great thread. Would love to join the DIS DAD's Club. Here's a list of my qualifications: I have a dog named Disney , my office is pimped is disney stuff including a Mickey mosaic on the floor which took me 2 weeks to lay the tile, I've found out the hard way that beer and ebay don't go well together bu I cherish my Hand painted and signed Mickey and Donald cels. Always plan next trip on the way from last. Have theme park music in cd player as we speak for taking girls to school, I read the unofficial guide from cover to cover every year even hough the book doesn't change much and yes always a great read. But most important I'm a Dad with two beauiful girls DD6 and DD10 and yes both are brainwashed , Wife not so much work in progress. Anyway can't wait to read all the post starting at number one. It would be a honor to join your ranks. Thank you, Themouse1928

Welcome heres one big:grouphug: from all of us to you .Welcome to the family
