Well, SUCCESS on Black Friday! I got everything I went out for. Now to get it in my house without the family seeing!

Well, its official! I just booked my brother and his family on the cruise! We are now a group of 16!!

I went to Target this weekend and got some really cute Disney stuff for the cruise. I am thinking I will start getting things now a little at a time.
Has anyone thought about doing Fish Extenders? We did this on our last cruise and had a blast! I would be willing to head it up if people are interested!

We did fish extenders on our last cruise too! I really was alot of fun!!!

Congrats on your BF Shopping. We made out pretty well ourselves. Got just about everything done except DD. Does't matter for her since her stuff never goes on sale anyways....

Sorry my reply took so long- it has been a crazy week! I ripped up carpet and put down laminate floors in my office at work, had a Girl Scouts meeting, started to plan my DD's birthday party (Dec. 30) and trying to Christmas presents wrapped without the family seeing! Will it ever end!!!!

JEALOUS!!! We have done 2 Christmas cruises on Magic and the weather is perfect as long as you go far enough south. The only time I have ever hit chilly (actually quite cold) weather was at CC. That was only one year though. I love Caribbean Christmas music

We originally were going to sail in August due to pricing but our summer plans have changed and we definitely wanted to be on the dream so this is a great date for us given school schedules. We sailed with Brantley one other time (Hi Brantley) and looking forward to doing so again. At the time of this cruise, my girls will be 7 and 12.

Yes us too. We were just going to let the August trip ride to see what happened but we are likely going to Greece that summer and thus won't have time to also do a cruise. So we thought if we can squeeze it in early in the year, spring break or right after school, we'd try. This cruise was originally our first choice so I just went back to it.

I hope everyones new year is off to a great start! My baby turned 8 on the 30th of December so we have been super busy! She had a party with her friends yesterday and the family party today! Back to school tomarrow!

50 DEGREES!!!!!! I would love 50! Heck, I would love 30!! It was -2 this morning and I dont think it got above 20 all day! I am looking forward to this weekend- gonna get up to 30!!

I dont know about the rest of you but it feels pretty good that we can now say our cruise is 'next year'!! I have already started our cruise box. It is just a tote in the corner of my bedroom where I put misc. stuff I pick up for the trip.

Stay warm everyone! When you get cold, think of laying in a chair on Castaway Cay sipping your favorite beverage!

Well, today we got up to 48 degrees!!! Unfortunatly, it's not going to last. This weekend our high is going to be 16!!!

So, I thought I would share a story with ya'll. In 2008, my local travel agent asked me to work for her, specializing in Disney vacations. I was thrilled and started my College of Disney Knowledge training right away. I have had a blast over the past year and a half planning Disney vacations for others. Right now, I am planning a 7 night vacation in Disney World for a family's first visit. They are on the dining plan and part of my service to my clients is booking their ADR's for them. So, last night, the family called me with their dining choices and I called Disney Dining Reservations to start booking. The woman I talked to was very nice and we had a great chat. She asked if I enjoyed being a travel agent and I asked her what it was like working for Disney. I mentioned how much I enjoyed DCL and she asked, "Is the Disney cruise something you book thru Carnival or thru Royal Carribbean?"
I said, "What???" And again, she asked who I book with. I told her I book with DCL and she said, "Disney has their own ships?!?!?!?!"
I was floored! She really had no idea that Disney had 2 ships currently and 2 more in the works!! She kept me on the phone for 20 minutes after my reservations were made asking me all kinds of questions about the cruiseline. She thanked me at the end and said I taught her something today! Sure made me feel good!!!

Did everyone see the new info Disney released today on the Dream? Mini gulf course, Finding Nemo kids water area and a swim up bar in the adult pool!! I can not wait! Maiden Voyage is 1 year from today!

Crystal - that is a funny story -perhaps you were talking to someone in India It is funny when you have to educate the CM's on the phone.
