:grouphug: all around. Mel, I'm glad you're feeling better.

Dawn & T any better today?

CE, what about eBay for a new phone?

TE, maybe that's why my parents made me wait to get my license. :hug:

Janet, what are you getting at Boarders? I'm always looking for something new. Have you read anything by Peter Abrahams? Apparently Stephen King really likes him, which I didn't find out until after I read it. I don't read much SK but it's interesting to see who authors enjoy.

Mitch has a colonoscopy tomorrow and he's really freaking about it. He knows he's out for it and everyone at work tells him it's no big deal. Although I know I will too when I have to get one.

:confused3 Just going to get out of the house for an hour;)

:hug:Mitch. Tell him my 17 yearold neighbor had to have one a couple of weeks ago!

Tell him that it's no big deal really. The only bad part is the prep before and it's only for a few hours. As I tell everyone who has one, what torture CAN'T you endure for a few hours?!? I mean, even if it's the worst day of your life, it's only ONE day. right?

MEL

Maybe talk to her before you make the arrangements to go? WHat her plans/expectations will be? KWIM?:confused3
Maybe!!!

I wouldn't spend the money, myself, Jo. I mean, what's the point if you're going to be frustrated with the outcome.
She just annoys me that she doesn't see me when she's here so why should I bother!!

So... CURSE WORDS, CURSE WORDS, CURSE WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no :headache:

Well there is the added bonus of ME! LOL. It does seem like a lot of $$ tho!
I know there are lots of people that would want to meet me, that's a negative to David :rotfl2:

Jo--I would vote No on the trip....unless I really wanted to go. We were gonna go over Christmas but they voted to go to Paris so I didn't argue! I used to live in CT so went there a lot.
Thanks!

That is the oddest pastime, Jo. Ly though. (I mean, despite you being slightly perverted. :rotfl2:)
:rotfl2: David wanted to get photos of the Bucks/Stags fighting :rotfl2:

Good luck to him :hug:

Why do I feel bleh somedays? :confused:

Morning, girls. :goodvibes

I'm supposed to go to bible study this morning, but I think I'll do the shortened version of it. We have a breakfast time, then a speaker. After that we go to small groups. I think I'll duck out before groups, though. I just can't muster up the energy to be out and about for hours. My back is still killing me. :guilty:

Last night I talked to K about helping me out a little more and how bad I felt for asking for help, but that even thought I don't constantly say something, I'm always in pain. :sad1: He was sweet and said to just ask, but sometimes I wish he'd ask me so I don't feel bad asking for help, you know?

The car's supposed to go into the shop today. I know they want me to wait until Monday so they don't have to pay for the rental over the weekend, but I don't care. I want my car back. Hauling in and out of K's tall truck isn't very fun. :headache:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take it easy, Lefty. Don't do too much and stay away from those germs! :eek: :hug:
Um... I lost all my thoughts. Sorry. I'm reading along, but I'm not in the mood to post much. Hugs for everyone, though. :grouphug:
She just annoys me
Isn't this what sisters are supposed to do to each other:confused3
Do I need to sharpen the axe:rotfl2:
Why do I feel bleh somedays? :confused:
Are you getting sick?:hug:
Nothing to feel guilty about:hug:
I take it the insurance company finally got back to you!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am ready to kill someone at CVS. I need to get Jimmy's script filled and they don't keep this particular med in becasue it is a narcotic. They have to order it and it is going to take a week to get it in! I am calling around now to see who the (*&#^($*& carry's this medication:headache:
Janet, why is it going to take a week to get the med? :confused3 Mitch can usually get what he needs overnight. Maybe Costco or a local pharmacy will have it. :hug:
Dawn, I'm glad you're getting your car fixed sooner than later. :thumbsup2
Jo, :hug:
Mel, you're right about being able to endure anything for just a little while. :goodvibes
Morning all !! Rosie is done for the day !!! Yes went in at 4 a.m. to do file purging !! I ampooped but happy to be done for the day!!!!!
Before I forget (again;)) Angela, here is the recipie for the Banana Brown Betty...
4 c thinly sliced apples (you can use canned apples, but blech!)
4 c scliced bananas (Bananas should be real soft, almost going bad)
2 cups bread, cubed (I usually use 6 or 7 slices)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp margarine
1/4 c hot water (I usually use more - reason below)
1/2 c packed brown sugar
Grease 1 quart baking dish.
Arrange 1/2 the apples and bananas on the bottom of the dish.
Follow with 1/2 of the bread, 1/2 the sugar. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle Cinnamon.
Cut margarine in pieces and layover the top.
Finish by pouring hotwater over the top (Sometime need to use more depending on how much bread you use, the top should be moist)
Cover and bak at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Jim eats it cold, I like it heated! It's a taste preference!
:confused3:headache:
I found a pharmacy that carries it. Just have to shower so I can go out!
yes Ab made it home fine! She said the 2 freshmen guys who helped her seemed very excited to assist! :rolleyes: It was actually a good lesson in a safe spot--something we all do---and one of those things that I always reminded her when I was driving with her. But it sinks in more when you forget yourself!
::yes:: She got that one out of the way early! Now she just has to do the locking keys in the car and running out of gas... she'll never do any of them again after that! :thumbsup2
Mitch has a colonoscopy tomorrow and he's really freaking about it. He knows he's out for it and everyone at work tells him it's no big deal. Although I know I will too when I have to get one.
Ugh. Sending sympathy his way. :hug:
Why do I feel bleh somedays? :confused:
See below...
You're a human? The weather? We're getting older?
Take your pick, girly! ;)
Yep, what Dawn said! :hug:
Oh, I do, indeed, know! Drives me BANANAS. But I think I've learned to accept that they can't seem to help it; they're just wired wrong. Er... different. ;)
It happens with non-narcotics, too. At least 3 times to me, in fact. :rolleyes: :mad:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Weeelll... still no AC. Apparently, AC units are dropping like flies around here, so my friend's DH hasn't been able to get to mine yet. Last night wasn't bad, but getting ready for school and work this morning sucked. :faint:

Angela tellhim the worse part is the day before with the diet an the ummmm medicine !!!The actual colonoscopy is nothing !!! I call thediet th Yello jello diet!!!

Aw man, that stinks. We had the same problem a couple of years ago when we came back from FLA our AC died:sad2: Hope you can get it fixed soon!

Thanks Janet. It sounds wonderful. :thumbsup2 Are you in the part of PA that is expecting snow?

V, I don't know how you're surviving without AC. :hug: I'd die. Although this weekend it's only in the high 70's. Did you see the state wants to do away with plastic bags? :cool1:

I feel like I'm dying, lol!

Can't wait! :banana:
Did you see the state wants to do away with plastic bags? :cool1:
No! Not sure I'm thrilled, though; I do use cloth for groceries but I need some plastic for my trash, so I get plastic at Target. So then I'd just have to buy new ones instead of re-using. More money out the door, lol!

OH! Speaking of...

I keep meaning to rant over here and keep forgetting. ;) I've decided to let my money talk re: WDW. It's talking its way right on over to the Doubletree Suites. The charging DVC members for valet parking thing was strangely what pushed me over the edge. That one thing isn't a gigantic issue, but it added to a growing laundry list of nickel & dime-y moves by WDW that have all built up and ticked me off.

I've HAD it with paying premium prices for small, not well-cleaned rooms. I've had it with dwindling menu choices and rising food prices. I've had it with lots of stuff. So much so, I'm seriously considering selling my DVC contract. (Well, that plus I'm broke, lol!)

Anyway, so I just canceled our Thanksgiving ressie at SSR and booked the Doubletree Suites at DTD, for a savings of around $250. TAKE THAT MOUSE! :mad:

You're right about trash bags. I've been trying to think of an alternative but have had no luck.

I saw that and I wonder if they will take it away for the Dining Experience too.

:thumbsup2 You're still close and you drive anyway so sounds like a good idea.

Your welcome:) Nope, that's up in the pocono mountains...thanks goodness!

Great savings V. I didn't hear about them starting to charge for valet...even if you are staying at that resort???

Seriously ::faint:: selling your DVC:scared1:

Thanks :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

I suppose :sad2: and the meds thing is ridiculous, glad you found it elsewhere :thumbsup2

I have literally sat on my laptop all day :sad2: well I cleaned the shower and spent £100/$150 at the supermarket oh and I ate some cakes so very productive day :rotfl2:

I just got home from bible study to find the puppy (who's bigger than my DOG now) had gotten my pain meds off the desk and chewed on the bottle. I had to bend over :headache: and pick 74 darn pills up off the floor/yard. :mad: My back was already hurting now it's horrible. Is it wrong to still take 2 of the pills that were in bottle in the yard? :lmao:

Anyway, I know I'm so lucky to be alive and fairly unharmed, but I keep finding myself crying and angry about bring in pain. :sad1: It's so frustrating to not be able to stand at the stove and cook dinner or go to the store or whatever I need to do. K just talked to me and tried to calm me down, which I appreciate. But I still just want to cry. :guilty:

I did get a name of a chiropractor that a friend of mine uses. I think I'm going to give her a call. I just don't feel better, even on meds.
