Post Your Wedding Cake

Here is our cake. They actually made it in wrong colors, we were going to have it in lavender, purple and white.

Beautiful cake but :scared1::scared1::scared1: The wrong color?!?!?! How in the world did that happen? What did your planner say? Pink and Red would have thrown off the whole color scheme! Your pictures!

LOVING this thread!! I've gotten some great ideas for our fall ceremony. Looking to have our ceremony at a winery and then, DW for our Disneymoon!!

Sorry for not knowing, but whatever is a "red velvet" cake? - I saw a picture and it looks like red velvet so I get the name, but how does it taste etc?

The edible mickey head sprinkles are available thru a company called Deco-Pac. Do a web search and you'll find it.They come in either pastel, Mickey colors (red/black/white), or the color combo being used for the current Disney Promotion (purple/pink/green).

The Mickey heads that are on wedding cakes are a stamp made from Disney trading pins. This stamp is dipped in either gold or silver edible dust, and applied to slightly moist fondant. You might try a craft store that has Disney items, and look for a sponge stamp of the mickey head.

P.S. Don't try and use the sprinkles on a cake that will be displayed or stored for any length of time, they melt too quickly.
