9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

Awww, I just love the photopass pictures of Hannah and Emily with Simba and then the one of the hugging. The one of them hugging is worthy of being framed!

Such CUTE girl pics!!! Sometimes I so wish I had one of those!!! (girls I mean!! :lmao:) But those pics with the fairies and the princesses are just priceless. I think my favorite is the one where the little one is showing her dress to Aurora? I think that is who.... I can see her saying "here you are!!!"

Great family photo at the AK!:thumbsup2

Looking forward to you next TR post! ;)

OMGosh! Your photopass pictures are great. I agree with everyone else, love the one of Em clicking her heals and of Hannah twirling.

I laughed so hard at poor Luke meeting Minnie. She was trying but he just wasn't having it. Maybe he's a Daisy fan. ;)

After the Tinkerbell Massacre we looked around the store a minute or two before heading across the way to Goofy's Barnstormer. I finally got to ride it, twice. I am pretty sure Grandma and DH took turns with Luke.

I think I rode once with both girls... and then we headed back through Fantasyland , catching Mickey's Philharmagic on the way (this was a weird one, my girls loved it previous trips, Hannah thought it was really loud and Em was not in love either)... then off towards The Haunted Mansion. At this moment Emily balked, so DH took her to Its a Small World, and Hannah and my parents rode HM. Luke and I went to get FPs for BTMR and Splash Mountain and then met back up at Columbia Harbor House for Lunch. Just as we ordered DH and Em came in, so we all had a seat and ate our lunches, refreshed and cooled down now we headed towards Adventureland. ...
and saw

No Emily in this picture... she was freaking out...keep this in mind for another day.

We rode Pirates, which Luke loved... he sat up watching everything. Finally the girls were okay with this ride too, I think they saw how much Luke loved it. He clapped along, so sweet!

We then took a ride on Splash, Hannah, my dad and I while DH took Em on The Magic Carpets. Then we grabbed more Splash and BTMR FPs and headed for the bus. Splash Mountain did pick my mood up quite a bit, I sure love that ride and missed riding it last year. It was weird though, we never got that wet any time we rode it this trip, and it would have felt great! Hannah and I sat in the very front row... which was super fun too.

We once again had an empty bus with no wait back to CSR. We got off our stop and were getting ready to take the girls to the pool so Luke could sleep in peace, and we opened our door to unclean rooms- boo! DH stayed first with Luke, with the plan I would come back and switch with him in a bit.

As we left the room the housekeeping lady was just ready to come to our room. I explained that we had a baby who was going to nap, and asked if she could come back later-- we would be leaving at 4:30 for the night. She said 5:30, I said fine and signed a paper (not sure what this is about.... but it come back later)

So we headed to the pool, again not crowded, again not refreshing because it was so hot! The girls did the slide a ton, and one time Emily sat it out with me in the pool. Hannah came back down the stairs in tears....hysterical. I figured hot pavement, cruel kids, cutters (who knows) but no.... she was crying because she lost a tooth. (This kid has no idea about loose teeth... today one is hanging barely and she refuses to pull it). So I calmed her down, took the tooth and got her a drink of sprite to wash away the blood. Just as she was calming down DH came to the pool, Luke in hand wondering where I was....Grumpy! I explained the tooth hysteria and that I was coming back...he said Luke just would not nap. So I got out went back to the room and got Luke in a suit too. (why didn't he do this I wondered). Luke took a quick dip before he went back and got a nap while I got ready... we had a big night ahead!

So one child has had a break down... two to go before the night is over... and bus ride from hell too!

(As a side note... not many pics, probably because I was in a bit of a funk still over the Tink Mess)

Once again, I think we could switch our DH's and neither one of us would know! I can totally see my DH bringing down B. without a suit expecting me to make miracles. ;)

I'm glad Luke enjoyed Pirates. We love that ride so I hope B. does too. I'm glad you got to ride Barnstormer too. Isn't it a fun coaster? Love the picture of Hannah with her arms up. :)

I think I know what's coming with the room clean-up. Oh man, seems like we are in for a post and a half to finish up the night!

Just came across your TR! What an eventful trip you already had so far!! :goodvibes I love the photopass pictures, especially the pose with Belle! :goodvibes And as everyone else, I absolutely understand the importance of being at the rope before 9:45 :thumbsup2

Thanks for joining in. France had great princesses, despite the rain and being forced in that little room.

This is a really cute family picture...definitely fit for a frame!! :thumbsup2

This has to be my favorite...she is such a doll!!

All Smiles!! I love it!!

Those are my favorites. We got a frame with twelve slots for this trip... I am not sure how to decide which ones.

Awwww...sisterly love! :cutie:

I love the picture of the kids with Ariel. So cute.

That photopass photographer at AK was so sweet. I loved that pic and she was so good to all the kids.

Such great PP pics. If you do CHristmas cards there are some great choices. The one of the 2 sisters is really cute.

I am tempted to do a Christmas Card with one... and be done with it early!

um.....what the heck is this thing with its big black nose in my face????

yeah....i'm pretty sure i'm not feeling this too much.

time for you to go!!! :lmao:

i love the twirling!!!

i can so feel emily's excitedness here. this is EXACTLY how i feel when i meet belle too! :rotfl:

SO SWEET!!!!

Poor Minnie... he just was overwhelmed.

Aww, Laura, we mommies can have our meltdowns, too!

I was just going to say, though, that the girls really seemed so happy to meet the fairies and they did look so precious!

How did Luke like riding in the Hunnypot with Winnie the Pooh?? pooh:

Kathy

You know Luke did not ride then ... he started to get mad so my mom got out of line with him.

More great PP pics!!! They turned out so good! I especially like the one where your DH has your Vera backpack!

My mom and I giggled a bit at him with the Vera through the trip...

Awww, I just love the photopass pictures of Hannah and Emily with Simba and then the one of the hugging. The one of them hugging is worthy of being framed!

It will make the frame for sure..

My girls love the princesses to pieces, and I know it won't last forever, so I soak it up now!

Mickey had more luck at HS with Luke

So sorry about the Tink ordeal! :sad2: I completely understand though - and I do hope they realized there was a VERY GOOD REASON you wanted the girls right away. Can you imagine waiting through that line for over an hour? And I've seen reports of it being over 3 hours! :scared1:

I am glad it all still worked out though-and it sounds like, despite the mood, a pretty successful day of touring the park!

I have heard issues on CSR's housekeeping, I hope your rooms get cleaned...:scared: And the bus ride from hell? Oh no....

You got some really great PP pics! I think the above 2 are my favorites so far...:goodvibes

Oh goodness. The bus ride from hell?? That frightens me.

You got a lot accomplished at MK, which is always good! :goodvibes

Luckily MeMom won'tbe on here much this week or your Barnstormer picture would probably bring up stories of me traumatizing Brooklynn. We are hoping to meet Capt. Hook. Brooklynn says she is going to tell him "tick tock tick tock." We'll see if that actually happens. She talks a big game in line but when the time comes she is silent.

Great updates Laura! The Photopass pictures are adorable! I LOVE the one of Simba and the girls, too cute! You guys really met SO MANY characters!! Sorry Luke didn't nap right away! CSR pool sounds like so much fun!!! Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Poor Hannah and her missing tooth. Did the tooth fairy pay a visit?

I love it that Luke liked POC. AND that he helped his sisters like it more.:thumbsup2

Uh oh on the housekeeping, and :scared1:about the bus from hell!!

Yeay for riding Barnstormer twice, and I love that Luke enjoyed Pirates! He is a quick learner!

Ughhh, I can't believe that your rooms weren't done! (I think I know what that piece of paper was because I had to sign it one day last year.)

Poor Hannah and her tooth -- but when the tooth fairy visits at Disney, that's extra cool!

Your comment about two to go does not bode well! :sad2:

I uploaded over 70 pics to finish the day. I doubt I will get it all in one update... probably two, but soon.

Luke showing up at the pool was beyond stupid. Put the suit on, I will sunscreen him up if needed.

I remembering waking up Sunday and being glad that day was over....

Oh goodness. The bus ride from hell?? That frightens me.

You got a lot accomplished at MK, which is always good! :goodvibes

It made for a nice two days left at MK, and some excellent FPs to use that night.

My kids had never came within a mile... so it was big that Hannah saw him... but Emily she was just starting to get brave.

Great updates Laura! The Photopass pictures are adorable! I LOVE the one of Simba and the girls, too cute! You guys really met SO MANY characters!! Sorry Luke didn't nap right away! CSR pool sounds like so much fun!!! Can't wait to find out what happens next!

He literally swam for 15 minutes before we headed back and he slept. I guess he was afraid he was missing out.

Poor Hannah and her missing tooth. Did the tooth fairy pay a visit?

I love it that Luke liked POC. AND that he helped his sisters like it more.:thumbsup2

Uh oh on the housekeeping, and :scared1:about the bus from hell!!

The tooth fairy was more generous at WDW (it is four quarters here)

We lost another tooth today.... I got to pull this one, an upper front so she has a big gap now.

kinda cool that hannah lost a tooth at disney! a disney tooth fairy came to visit her!!!! :thumbsup2 my little sister lost her first tooth on vacation, too, but we were at myrtle beach....not as cool.

Oh, and here I hoped that the whole "please clean our room early" thing would work...I hate juggling the cleaning people and naptime. It doesn't sound like good things are to come from the hints you gave...

Splash and Pirates - two things we don't usually get to do because of nervous kids. Hopefully the next trip. I think my DD would be very jealous of the tooth fairy in Disney! Looking forward to another update!

Somehow we were all ready for the buses at 4:30. We got our ears... poor Luke still did not have any..

It was fantastic to just walk around the building to the buses. Once there we had a bit of a wait... about a half an hour.

Since we were headed to Chef Mickey's we decided to take a MK bus, the monorail. After about twenty minutes we decided whatever we saw: EPCOT or MK would do. So at 5 we finally saw an EPCOT bus (we still had not seen MK). Once we got on the bus that was pretty full, we headed to Blizzard Beach---- you have got to be kidding me. Yesterday the AK buses stopped at Blizzard Beach, and today EPCOT???

But as we pulled in I said to DH, should we get off and grab a bus to the Contemporary--- he was for it once we saw a Contemporary bus right behind us.... we booked it to the bus stop, which was right in front of CSR.

This bus was packed. Not sure where it was coming from, but it was jammed full. My mom had Emily who was falling asleep with her, DH had the stroller, my dad had Luke, and I had two backpacks and helped Hannah keep her balance.

Yes you read right, my five year old was standing, as well as my 60 year old dad with a 10 month old--that is just crazy to me. But it gets better.... we were going along, not far at this point when the woman to my left pokes me and says excuse me. I said yes, and then got this back- can you please watch your bags you might wake the baby! Let me create this visual for you all. This grandma had her granddaughter's entire head in the aisle. The mother was beside her, and all it would have taken was for the mom to hold the sleeping baby if she was that worried. (it was a two year old probably) She did not say I had, but wanted me to be careful. I was totally shocked at her nerve. I had two bags, trying to keep my five year old safe and she was worried about me disturbing her, who was in the aisle. I could not believe it. Then it continued to crack me up as I listened to their conversation... we were passing the monorail track --- that is where they used to ride that monorail, it is not used anymore, just buses now (needless to say they were novices, I hope this was their first bus ride and that they would get a clue about crowded buses)

I also had a great conversation with a family headed to the Poly... they were headed to the luau and were already a half an hour late (there must have been some crazy bus problems that afternoon).

Our ride ended at the Contemporary... Em was asleep, so she got in the stroller. We checked in, there was no line, but we did not take our picture since Em was asleep. They even sat us in a spot where we could pull the stroller up to the table, but she sat up once we got to our table.

The characters were super fun as usual, I thought less rushed than usual too. Emily somewhere that night got brave too!

Along the way we got an anniversary treat...

I think it was Mickey who changed Emily's tune... she wanted to hug him... and then away went the character fear!

Luke loved the party time... he clapped away and smiled so cute! This meal was a hit, everyone left full and happy. My parents enjoyed their first trip to Chef Mickey's!

We then boarded the monorail for a night at MK... my favorite nighttime park by far. We made the loop and entered MK. I wanted to get some pictures of the kids on the bench.... Hannah went with my mom to the bathroom, so I got this picture first.

IMG_0461.jpg

Luke was having none of it... he wanted a bottle, he was having a melt down. When Luke wants a bottle it is bad, even worse when he sees it or the formula dispenser. Well he saw the water bottle, the formula, and wanted his bottle NOW! He had ate a ton, but not had anything to drink, so I started to dig.... and dig... and dig (remember two backpacks) and then I had the sinking feeling... did I forget the bottle. I for the life of me could not find it, so when Hannah and my mom met up with us, I sent them off to Buzz while I was headed to Baby care to buy a bottle --- and got the didn't you check before you left look from mom!

So I unloaded Luke at the Baby Care... and was a sweaty mess after the fast and furious search for the bottle. We went in to buy the bottle, and I got one there, a different kind but I figured he would be fine. Then I went to make the bottle... and yes, you know what I found the the backpack- the darn bottle. That gives you a clue to how much stuff I had with me....

So I asked the CM if I could return the bottle, she said I could at any store, so off we went, but as we reloaded in the stroller a grandma saw me with the bottle and said she was headed in to buy one... they had forgotten theirs... and so there I got rid of my bottle, I actually made money from it ( I said she could have it, but she paid me anyway)

Crisis ended, Luke with his bottle in hand and I headed to Tomorrowland.....

(remember we are still waiting for tears from Em and the bus ride is worse home!)

kinda cool that hannah lost a tooth at disney! a disney tooth fairy came to visit her!!!! :thumbsup2 my little sister lost her first tooth on vacation, too, but we were at myrtle beach....not as cool.

The tooth fairy upped the ainty there too.

Splash and Pirates - two things we don't usually get to do because of nervous kids. Hopefully the next trip. I think my DD would be very jealous of the tooth fairy in Disney! Looking forward to another update!

I hope that Pirates remains on Luke's favorites... and Splash will be so fun when everyone can ride!

Some people have quite the nerve! I think you handled the bus situation well. :thumbsup2

I love that first group picture with Donald. It is like Em is looking over at Luke to make sure he is having a good time. :thumbsup2

Okay, so I am sure you realize that we are all laughing WITH you WITH you, not at you... but this has certainly been a story to tell!!!! GOODness!!! That said:

1. The people on the bus -- GET real.
2. The busses in general, sometimes I think Disney must change the busses around just to keep people guessing! UGH.

AND finally

3. That photo of you and your family with DONALD, is hands down the best photo of all of you and so adorable and full of energy that it belongs on Disney literature!!! I expect to see it on a brochure in the near future!!! Your matching shirts, your amazing smiles, Truly. The best. :)

And then, I read that the saga isn't over and there is more??? Oh I have to keep my hat on for this one!!!
