That fun fact for the China pavilion is really neat- Disney never ceases to amaze me!

Side note- went to ON yesterday and boy I was waaaay late to the Men's 1/2 off sale there was nothing left! So instead I bought myself a pair of shorts and a shirt.

I think that fact about the China pavillion is too cool. I will have to give it a go! Again, sorry about ON. On Thursday when I worked, Men's was totally picked over. We've been very busy lately.

Today's Answer

a. A child's Erector set
Disney Imagineer Mark Sumner, from the Ride Mechanical Engineering division, had the initial concept for what would become the Soarin' attraction. Over a Thanksgiving weekend, he took out an old Erector set and with the help of glue, rubber bands, and other household materials, had a mock-up built of his proposed Soarin' ride system in about 3.5 hours. While the model used hand cranking to move the seats, the actual attraction uses a 1,000 hp electrical motor to move the ride system's 1,000,000 pounds of steel.

Sadly, a week from now, we'll be long gone from WDW. We will be about an hour outside of Tallahassee visiting my DH's family. We don't leave Florida until the 30th, but leaving Disney always makes me very sad. I think I've come to the end of my trivia and fun facts, but don't worry, I'll still be around for 2 more days.

Tomorrow will consist of me running around like a crazy person! I need to do laundry, wash the sheets (my little sis said she'd stay a few nights to keep our kitties company), pick up some last minute things (bug spray, hotel snacks, etc), pick up Tony's dry cleaning, tidy up the house a bit....the list goes on and on! Tuesday will be packing day (yea!). I really do love packing. At first, I feel a bit overwhelmed, but once I start, LOOK OUT! I get on a roll.

I printed all of my window decorations, Mousekeeping envelopes and CM appreciation cards today and I'm so excited! I have them all nice and safe in a folder. Well readers, time for me to get some work done. Be back in the morning!

I cannot believe I leave in 2 days! I have not started packing yet. That will take place tomorrow. However, I do have a bunch of stuff thrown in my Disney tote. It's not super huge but I just keep throwing stuff in it like travel sized items, Disney pins, etc. I know where it all is!

This weekend stunk with all the rain. Well, yesterday was actually quite beautiful!

We are bouncing off the walls here at my house! Tomorrow is one of my favorite days: PACKING DAY! I just love getting everything all organized in suitcases (I know, I'm nuts!).

I can't even believe how close you are. I am sure you are going to have so much fun.

I know we're going to have a blast. I've ignored all the negative threads today. How can you not have fun at Disney? It's summer: it's going to be hot, it's going to be crowded and it's going to rain every afternoon. If you go there knowing these things, you're golden.

I just printed my packing list! I also made little "cards" of which attractions are open during AM EMH and PM EMH! I'm going to put them in the pocket of my trip journal for reference. That way, we can look at them on the bus and figure out our plan of attack. This trip definately snuck up on me! At first, I was a bit stressed knowing we only had 2 months to plan. However, it was a lot of fun because I never really had any "down" time. With our trip in January, there were blocks of time I didn't have anything to do. During those times, I was kinda sad. Anyways....

I got all of my running around done today so that was great. Tomorrow, we just have to run to the bank to get some quarters (for those pressed pennies that Madison loves) and some cash. Then, we'll get down to business! I'll be back tomorrow with my last post before vacation!

This one had it's easy and difficult moments. Easy-Being able to talk to Madison about everything. Hard-planning ADR's, etc at only 60 days.

You log into Disney's website and once you do, you'll see the online check-in option. It asks for your confirmation number and phone number (the one you used when you booked the trip). You're then taken to the next page where you can review your specifics (hotel, check-in and out dates). You can select a credit card to link to your reservation too. The only requests you can make are a pack and play or a fridge (it lets you know you will have to pay for it at check-in). That's pretty much it! It will then let you print out the page for your records if you wish. It doesn't give you your room.
