Hi everyone - had a great DIS meet today with Flo. We had a very nice waitress at TGI Friday's who let us order drinks and just look at our books for a good half hour or more before we ordered. I really enjoyed sharing my books with Flo and seeing her books. For 2006 we had the same book design but in different sizes. Flo even brought me a gift she got at Doorway to Dreams.

If anyone else makes their way to the Chicago area let us know as we'd love to get together again.

Hello everyone, Its been raining off and on today..expecting storms the rest of the week.

DH had his surgery today..appears to be doing well. He started therpy this evening and they will get him out of bed tomorrow and walking. Been there all day, I am very tired...You know sitting around all day.

I was just looking at my calendar and I realized that at Midnight this coming Sunday (June 15th) that those of us that are castaway member’s can make there reservations for Palo, spa, etc.! Boy is the time starting to fly.

Now I get to slow down for awhile. My daughter graduated from high school on June 1st. The rest of the week it was running here and there and everywhere trying to get things done for her graduation party on Saturday June 6th. The party was a success!!! The weather was mostly cloudy and in the low 80's with a nice breeze...can't complain. All went well and had a great time. The next big event is taking her to college. She will be going to American University in Washington, D.C. We will be taking her there on the week of August 16th. Her classes start on August 24th. I am still in shock....where did the time go? She has grown up into an amazing young woman. Michael and I are so proud of her.

Hi Wendy - how was Hawaii?

Hawaii was great. Cathy and I had a great time. We did everything from flying around the island to see the volcano to the Manta Ray Night Dive.
We have a little rest to get ready for the cruise. Cathy laughs because my suit case has items already packed to go.

Hi everyone! Well one more week before I am on vacation. I better get my act together this weekend so that I can make sure that I have clothes (shorts mostly) that fit since I haven't worn shorts since my WDW trip last November.

I did make a dinner reservation tonight for my birthday at one of the Williamsburg taverns plus I made 2 reservations for their evening programs. Other than that, I think that I will wing it and probably eat at the taverns for lunch.

I always get confused with that. So I went to a conversion chart. I found it on the internet. But yes you are right it is Sunday. See below.



Midnight Eastern time is 11:00 Central Standard time for us to book. See below. It is a conversion chart. That is how I knew what time to call for the res for SSM09. I found a chart.
